I watched Smackdown! last night and I just have to say Mark Henry has become one of my favorites to watch - probably in my top 5!. The man is putting in work, son! I love how he just destroys everyone and has this strong attitude that says, "I will whoop that ass!" I remember this side of him when he was ECW champ and I loved it then too. I don't care if he doesn't have five-star matches, here is a wrestler that I legitemetly believe he can defeat anyone, and I would definitely agree with having him be the World Champion. There are many CM Punk, Cena, and Ryder posts here so I guess I just wanted to start a post to show some Mark Henry appreciation, because in my eyes, this man is total bad-ass!

Absolutely. Henry's been phenomenal since the heel turn. One of the best things in wrestling right now. He's absolutely convincing as a monster. His little taunts are awesome. "If I charge for air, you keep your bill paid!"

I love Mark Henry.
I will be really disappointed if he doesn't win the World Heavyweight Championship. This run he is on has been very entertaining.

For all the wrong that WWE has done with characters in the past, they've had two unbelievable successes this year with characters that were dead in the water.
The first being R-Truth, which needs no explanation at all.
The second is Mark Henry.
He's been useless for years. A forgettable run as a face, injury prone days as a "monster heel", it's all come full circle to this monster of a character today (no pun intended). Henry is putting in the work - he's fulfilling his expectations in the ring, he's entertaining on the mic, and he's playing his role perfectly. WWE couldn't possibly be handling his character better right now. It's going to be interesting to see where they go with him tomorrow night.
For the first time in his 15+ year career within WWE, I can wholeheartedly say that I would have no issues with them putting the World Title on him tomorrow night.

Henry is great right now. He actually had an explanation and a good back story for why he turned heel, unlike most heel turns. He deserves the the strap.

If Orton goes over clean tomorrow, throw all this out the window. Which is what I would put my money out and IT SUCKS. We could finally have that dominate, intimidating, heel.
Snoreton wins, we riot.

I agree with all of you. MARK FN' HENRY FOR THE WIN!!!
His lines are awesome his facial expressions his look with the beard and hair and size. His voice and agression. I thought the second he turned heel he had something special going. If Orton wins I'll be ticked.

I really hope he wins the title title tomorrow night. I've been a fan of his since the very beginning, and right now he is in the best push of his career. I hope WWE realizes this and lets him go over on Orton.

This thread makes me happy! I thought the general thoughts of Mark on WF were negative.
Last night's Cutting Edge turned me into a fan of his, excellent work lately.

I'm still not high on Henry, I've got to much of a bad taste in my mouth from past work, mainly because I've sat through this character before, not as successful mind you and got that shitfest of Angle Vs Henry.

I'm down for Mark taking the belt off Orton. Orton has been pretty bland as champ and Henry is something new in the title picture for a change.

If Henry wins, he needs to feud with someone other then Orton. Orton needs to do somthing else at this point in time.
And as to my opinion on Mark, I've loved the push so far. Give him the belt.

I hate to be that guy, but Mark Henry won't win the World Heavyweight Championship tomorrow night. If it happens, I will be absolutely shocked.
It's WWE's formula: Whoever gets the last laugh before the PPV, loses.
