@ muccguy88- Thats an excellent idea. I didnt really pay attention to the shirt but you're right it was opened. Ill have to do that and then get something to keep it from ripping or shedding. @aussie- Thanks, Ive thought in their younger days DiBiase and Flair had similar bodies so figured it would be a good match for both. @ Branchise- Its one of my favorites that Ive done. Im curious what the CS2 head will look like on it. I havent been a fan of that head on Mattel bodies since its much larger but it seem the Regal body is a lil thicker and it might work. Ill have to see. Just don't make the cut too big. I did it when the EG Undertaker first came out and it hasn't ripped at all. |

That bald cm punk looks more like ivan koloff to me than cm punk, it makes me want to make an ivan custom

(del rio's? but those have an "A" painted on them dont they did u remove the A?)

Ok guys I need some advice, I absolutely hate the big knee pads that are on Mattel figures such as CM Punk and Chris Jericho on the elites. I have seen some other figures on here that have had them replaced with Randy Orton knee pads but as there aren't that many around, I am after ideas.
I have seen the big knee pads cut down, how do you guys do that? What do you use to cut them?
Also are there any other knee pads out there that will do the job for example Jakks ones.

I cut off the top and bottom off the kneepads, heres an animation made with my customized kneepads on Chris Jericho. (cheap fix) If you want some more pics, just ask. |

Yea, Havoc head is a lot smaller than the RA or DA JBL head.

I used an exacto knife and cut around the front outline of the pad slowly and carefully. I also leave some slack on the left and right side then end up sewing fabric around the back. It works for me but you will need some practice to get it right. I did this for the figure in my signature so you can see that as an example. Hope this helps! |
