I'll help get the ball rolling with some stuff I've been working on. First is my temporary Arn Anderson. This came out a lot better than I expected. I didn't change too much for two reasons. 1. Not that much needed changing. 2. It's confirmed we are getting an Arn Anderson from Mattel, so once I get that this body will be used for someone else. Next is my Scott Hall. I originally had taller calves on him, but it looked weird with the long boots so I tried the calves from Jim Duggan. I think it looks much better now. I had made decals for the gear but I was having trouble getting them to work so I ordered some gear from Ralph. I got a set of Razor Ramon gear as well as a set of Scott Hall gear so I can switch it up from time to time. Ralph's gear will also allow me to give these pads to someone else. The body is William Regal BTW. My Toys R Us was jammed with Regals so I got like 3. It's the next most useful body next to Terry Funk. The thicker torsos are great for fixups using heads from Jakks, since they don't look as enormous. Next is a Cactus Jack custom I'm working on. It's a Jim Duggan body with the calves and arms from Jake Roberts, hands from Triple H, and a Jakks Cactus Jack head. I was going to use the shirt that came with the Jakks figure but it's too big. I'm eventually going to order a Cactus Jack shirt from Ralph. Until then I'll give him a plain black shirt. I'm not finished painting the tights yet, but when I am finished I'm going to give him Jake Roberts boots.

I really love some of the work you do man but one thing that bugs me is I wish you would take your time and paint more carefully. You have great ideas and great work but it always seems that the figure either isnt fully painted or when painting the pants you get it all over the torso. I think you've got a lot of potential to do great stuff but just take your time. It's something I'm working on. With Cactus Jack I didn't care too much because the shirt will be covering his torso anyway, and I'm still going to add more paint to the tights. With Hall I need to hit up the sloppy spots with some acetone. It's kind of annoying to me that it keeps happening because I use tape to prevent it from happening. It seems like I always end up with a small wrinkle in the tape though and it ends up sucking up some paint onto the torso. The other thing is that I only started painting like not even a year ago and now I'm using spray on sealer so improvement is definitely coming. Practice makes perfect and the spray on sealer keeps things much neater even though everyone in the house complains about the smell.

As far as the paint goes just keep at it...practise makes perfect

I understand, I wasnt bashing by any means so hopefully you didnt take any of it like that. Ive taped off once and had the same problems. It made a mess, surprisingly i do better just trying to use a steady hand....which isnt so steady LOL I didn't feel like you were bashing me at all. No worries there. I'm just making conversation.

I actually like that thread, I was the one who told the mod to stick it(back as Kidanimation09) I enjoyed looking at it because it gave me ideas even though I don't make customs. So thanks to everyone who posted customs in that thread.

what kind of paint are you using? it covers really well but you can still see the texture of the plastic which is nice and almost factory like

You get like 24 small pots of paint for something like $8. Also, I really brush the paint on good. I make sure to get a lot of coverage out of a small amount of paint so the coats are fairly thin and not clumpy.

I asked this in the other thread but it didn't get answered before it got locked. Has anyone done a Ric Flair fix-up using the Classic Deluxe head. I personally prefer this head and would like to see a fix up of one before I embark on doing one myself.

What I normally do with the torso/waist area when painting is just turn the torso sideways this way if you flinch the paint will either go onto the top of the trunks or under the torso. It makes painting it much easier and makes it much cleaner. Cactus is looking nice so far.

Got Dean's tats and put them on my Punks! I must say, these are incredible. Still haven't put the chest tats on them because I'm not that far into my figure fed. Thanks, Dean! You truly deserve to toot your horn and I'm sorry! And a bigger thanks to him for giving me these for a VERY LOW price. Not gonna say what the price was to not get you guys mad. Whats that white stuff on Punks left arm?

Nice stuff there. A little tip on Undertaker. Take a sharp pair of scissors and make a small cut at the collar where the shirt would button. When the tie is on it's not noticeable but when it's off the shirt looks more opened like he normally wore it. Makes a huge difference in my opinion.

I like the Dusty fix-up that everyone does, but what pads do you use for the knees and elbows? I know it's from a Jakks fig., but which one? Also how do you remover the spots without taking the black off the fig.?

Are those the lighter pepsi versions? Yeah, the E6 Punk has the lighter Pepsi tattoo and the RSC Exclusive Punk has the darker one.
