Went to the 9-0 massacre of the Flames tonight. Very fun game, to say the least. A little bit late, but I thought the Winter Classic was awesome. I was pulling for the Rangers and I was pretty happy they pulled it out. I saw the fight video on Boston Barstool Sports a few days ago, chalked it up to a few fans being drunk and stupid. Can't really judge the entire fan base off of a few morons. With that being said, I watched the last episode of 24/7 tonight, and was surprised to hear Philly say "Shake hands? this", before leaving the ice. Thought that was kind of low, just didn't expect it. Actually re-watched it today. You could hear Torts say first "No, No shaking hands." Which then lead to Giroux saying "No handshakes? Okay, this poop..let's get the outta here." Tortorella? I didn't even realize it was him who said that first, I just caught what Giroux said. I retract my statement lol Luongo isn't going to start for Vancouver on Saturday in Boston. Bummer.

Definitely disagree with Luo not starting. Coming iff a shutout, and he is on a massive hot streak. Needs to face his demons. Oh well, hope we can pull off a win tomorrow.

Luongo doesn't need to be thrown off his game right now, i'm glad they chose Schneids.
also, what do you guys think about Nash saying he'd waive his NTC? I think he should go to montreal.

It would have been an epic rematch. It's still going to be a great game, but it's just lacking a little bit of 'something' with Luongo not in net.
I'd love to see Nash ANYWHERE besides Columbus. I wouldn't be too happy to see him with Montreal, but whatever. Get him on a team that can use him.

I think Nashville is the obvious choice. They need scoring, and come on. NASHville? Isn't it obvious? Cue up the Nash for Weber rumors!

See, I'm still not so sure on Nash's true talent level. On a sh*t team, he's looked superb...but if you put him on, say, the Bruins, Habs, Penguins etcetera...would he be able to survive on a team like that?

So, not only did the Sabres lose to another terrible team, the proposed realignment has been rejected by the NHLPA and now it looks like another lockout is on the way.

Holy poop...what a night. Went to the AHL Outdoor Classic at CBP, Bears/Phantoms. Phantoms won in overtime 4-3...and I seriously had the greatest time ever. The rink just looked absolutely stunning when I saw it for the first time, and I couldn't have asked for more perfect seats. Just a great way to wrap up the Outdoor Games in Philadelphia! I'll try and post a pic of where I was a little bit later. Didn't wanna make the pic too big on here, but you pretty much get the gist. Dead center and up high, Such an amazing view the entire night.

It's a Saturday game, and there's always a game or two starting at noon in the East Time Zone, even if the games aren't being played on the East Coast, and noon here is 10 there...I think. Otherwise, if that's not the case then yeah, I'm just as confused. Haha.

The game should be really good, but I don't really get them benching Luongo. To me, a good player like that(I still have nightmares from last year's finals), can get over demons in certain buildings. Plus, come on, he's a hockey player, he's tough. Also, this is the only time that these two teams play in the regular season. I call that great oversight. And, since the NHLPA rejected the realignment, Winnipeg will stay in the Southeast Division. #idiocy

Six Canucks jump on Thornton. SIX.
Starting off nice, for sure.

Such a terrible non call on that icing.
Luckily Hodgson just got it back for us.

Haha...where's that picture of the NHL Rule Book that I got all pissy over a few weeks ago? I feel that it needs to be reposted, except instead of it being gifted to Sid, it should be gifted to Vancouver.
