Haha...where's that picture of the NHL Rule Book that I got all pissy over a few weeks ago? I feel that it needs to be reposted, except instead of it being gifted to Sid, it should be gifted to Vancouver. Amen to that brotha! For sure. Haha.

A hat trick and a fight, not bad for someone having a quiet season. Still not the best game for them. I had no idea that the power play would have a negative effect on a team, but they sure proved it today. One thing that surprised me though was the effort of the fourth line, they've been working very hard the last two games.

Game of the year, so satisfying. I have a feeling this might be our final again.

Great game, I wish there were more games between the two during the regular season, but what can you do. Things would have been different had Marchand not been an idiot and got ejected/given Vancouver a 5 minute power play. I thought it was funny that like, an hour after the game ended, the NHL basically admitted they were wrong with throwing Lucic out of the game 4 minutes in and that it never should have happened. Dumb.

I didn't think Lucic deserved to be thrown out of the game, but i think that was a statement move. He left the bench to fight. Big mistake. If they didn't make that call, things would've been worse. The biggest factor in Vancouver winning was discipline. Boston didn't get away with a lot of the stuff they would have last year in the final, whereas Vancouver was much more calm and didn't let them get to them.

While I'm still upset that the Bruins lost to the Canucks I viewed it as a game where the Bruins already got what they wanted so without having too much at stake they just wanted to take it to the Canucks in terms of agression. All through the finals the Canucks were taking liberties so I think the Bruins just wanted a little revenge for that without having to worry about costing themselves the cup.

Vancouver was taking liberties? They were no more dirty than Boston. Dumb post, sorry dude. Are you trying to say Boston wasn't out there to win because they already got the cup?

Didnt the NHL say that Lucic was right and was in the midst of a line change? I thought I heard it on ESPN today that the NHL agreed with Julien that Lucic was in the midst of a line change. Bruins got too riled up, made too many mistakes and the Canucks capitalized.

They actually made a mistake, he didn't leave the bench to fight. That's why the misconduct was rescinded.

What a joke...I'm so fed up with this team deciding when they actually wanna put the foot to the pedal, and when they just wanna fall back and get lazy.
"Oh two goal game? That's okay, let's pack it up...No way they're gonna score!"

It could be worse...at least the Flyers are occasionally winning games. I don't think the Pens have won a game in almost a month now...it's getting ridiculous.

Actually, you guys won just 2 weeks ago. You beat Carolina on the 27th. Be glad you aren't a Hawks fan...dear god we've sucked lately. 3-way tie atop the Central with Hawks and Wings(surprising, I know) and...*record scratch* The St. Louis Blues.

Everybody beats the Hurricanes though. This year makes me sad to be a Canes fan. In all seriousness though at least they are starting to show a little bit of life. They're only like 6 games out of a playoff spot and Staal is starting to wake up a bit. but with the month of January looming over their head with games against Philly, Washington, Boston, Pittsburgh and the Jets who seem to be pretty damn decent this season it's not gonna be an easy month. The only games I can forecast wins in with some certainty this month is against the Islanders and Tampa

Shockingly enough, the Hawks are only 2 points off of Vancouver.

That's because the Hurricanes have improved from being terrible to just inconsistent Just thank your stars none of our teams are playing like the Oilers (who I also have to cheer for given my hometown and such) dropping 12 of their last 16
