I'm happy to have the Halloween 6 producers cut. But in all honesty, it is EXTREMELY overrated and I prefer the theatrical version. I actually like both versions; they each have their pros/cons.

I got the 15 Disc Halloween Set today, and I love it!! I have had them on VHS for years, and I had a few on DVD, but to get them all on Blu Ray and in one go, was perfect for me!

I had no intention of getting the Halloween set until I realized I could sell my original blu rays and got over half the price. I have to admit it's a nice set. The Halloween H20 and Curse transfers are much better and I love having Blu rays with the original art. On the subject of Curse...I still prefer the original version and I see why they cut some of what they cut or altered. It's neat to see a different version but some of the dialog is just horrible. It's also odd in that it tries to further explain things, but makes the plot even more of a big WTF.

On the subject of blu rays... MGM has re-released some of their blu-rays with a collectible card front cover with different art work. They're pretty slick and cheap at that. If you didn't buy them already give them look. I bought the TCM 2 and it came with this ... sorry if too big. I hotlinked it.

*faints*
Best. Movie. Ever. Scream. 1. Then 2. Then 4. Then 3. Hopefully. 5. Is. Even. Better. Than. 1.

I think it was $7.99

Can someone give me a list of amazing horror movies? I've read some books but never have really watched movies (except for Halloween series and Saw)

That TCM 2 looks sweet. Probably not enough to get me to double dip but still nice looking. Kind of looks like it has that Scream Factory vibe.

Last night I had Rob Zombiefest. House of 1000 Corpses. My first time watching it since it's release. Thought it was utter crap. The Devils Rejects. Actually love this movie, particularly the whole Wydell revenge torture stuff. Love me good vengeance. Second half of the Halloween remake. I don't need the kid stuff, but once he gets his mask it's a pretty damn good remake. I refuse to watch H2 though. I can live with the homeless guy look, the white horse crap, and even druggie Laurie. But the film commits the biggest sin you could in a Halloween flick. Sam Loomis should never believe Michael is dead. He should always be hunting him down. Tonight I watch the first three Scream films.

My October challenge
1. Watch one horror movie every day in October 2. Don't give up. If you miss a day, make up for it and watch two the next day. 3. No horror comedies 4. No Zombie movies
OCTOBER 1. (None) 2. Insidious 2 / You're Next 3. Scream 4 4. Friday the 13th (1980) 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. ...
I hope to update this post every day.
