Need some expert Friday the 13th help here, guys.
Can someone give me a timeline for all the films? I mean, how much time passes between each movie?
I just got a box set & was really digging it. Then I saw Part 5 (The New Beginning) and wish they'd hadn't made it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I heard a lot about It Follows. So much so, that I've been prepping my wife to watch it for awhile now. Tonight we finally sat down to give it a try. And... it wasn't nearly as great or as scary as I heard it was. Very disappointed cause I wanted it to scare my socks off.
I will say I liked the old school horror score. Had a very late 70's vibe. Friday the 13th/Halloween sorta feel to it. But it's a problem when the score is the best part.

Just re-watched an all time 80's classic.... Night of the Creeps.
Having not seen it for 20 years I feared it wouldn't hold up, but much to my surprise it did. I enjoyed it just as much as I did when I was younger. Classic one liners, decent effects for it's time, and entertaining cast. Good stuff all around.

Was given free passes for an early screening of The Visit this past Wednesday. Holy cow what a steaming pile. I think it's the first time I left a movie theater angry at how bad a film was/ the time I wasted.

'What We Do In The Shadows'. See it. Best horror/comedy I've seen in awhile.

Watched Crystal Lake Memories again yesterday. It's such a great Friday the 13th documentary. I wish they'd do one that in-depth for Halloween.

Personally with how much was rehashed from His Name Was Jason I was disappointed. I know there is only so much one can say but I was just hoping for more. I guess the countdown for who can find the first Wal Mary display is on as mine has started the Halloween candy displays. Should be soon to see what DVDs and Blus are coming this year.

Just rented It Follows.. Heard very mixed reviews.. Hopefully it doesn't overly disappoint.

I'd glad they re-hashed/expanded on the "His Name was Jason" stuff instead of just releasing a documentary covering the TV series and the remake. The new interviews interspliced with the older footage was good. Plus, I thought the whole intro/outro with Corey Feldman was great.

I guess I was expecting more new content. Have you seen the Hellraiser one from the UK

Finally watched it follows. Although the film wasn't bad, the score was definitely winning factor for the film. The basic dvd had very few special features, but it had one on the music of the film.. That should speak volumes.

I decided to start watching the Halloween Complete Collection bluray release from last year again. I've gotten through Halloween-Halloween 5, but for the life of me I can't get through Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (theatrical cut) without passing out. I guess I'll give it another shot later tonight.

I'll be doing the same once October starts.....however i will be going all out and watching each film plus the TV-Cuts, H6 P-Cut, and probably the making of and other special features. Easily my favorite box set of all time.

Easily my favorite box set of all time. I'll probably end up doing the same as well. I really wish that they would of included the scenes from the TV version of H20 on the damn disk. I honestly wouldn't care if they were crap quality, but it'd be nice to see them again since I lost my copy of the TV cut from when it aired back in '03 on FX.

do you reckon they'll bring out another saw? At some point yes. Or more likely than not a reboot. Its only a matter of time.
