This past Wednesday I went to the Kanye West/Jay-Z concert in Chicago. At one point I was talking to the random guy sitting next to me about CM Punk, and then the people behind me overheard me mention CM Punk and chimed in. Turns out one of the girls sitting behind me was Armando Alejandro Estrada's 1st cousin (I believed her because she a) looked identical to him and b) was talking about how he closed his restaurant c) she referred to her cousin as he managed like some guy named Umaga or something d) If you were gonna lie about being related to someone why would you choose some obscure manager).
Anyways, AAE got married over the weekend and she said that CM Punk, among others, was at the wedding and was just a complete and total jerk. Apparently he was acting like he was a huge deal and that people should be honored to be in his presence. She said that his attitude and comments were along the lines of "ok I need to leave all of these people are bothering me" when in actuality no one was really bothering him/even knew who he was. Her exact words on the matter were "I was thinking like get over yourself man, you're fricken wrestler...not some big celebrity."
Hearing this came as no surprise as we all know what a jerk CM Punk can be, from personal experiences and reading about it on Twitter. However, this story made me realize that this is why CM Punk will never ever be the top guy in the company or a true all time great. He doesn't care about his fans and truly has poor people skills. He wants to be the guy to carry the company, yet he is just downright rude to the people who pay their hard earned money to buy tickets to see him and buy his merchandise. I know that people sometimes bug him when he is eating or is tired, but those are the consequences of being on TV.
I find it hard to believe that at a former wrestler's wedding, he was being bombarded by fans. Is it really that hard to take a spare moment of your time to sign an autograph or take a picture with someone?
Something else that really bothers me is how he just berates people on twitter for spelling errors/typos/or just general harmless comments.
I have never once on here heard a negative story relating to people meeting anyone like Stone Cold, The Rock, Vince McMahon, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Randy Orton, etc.
I'm still a big CM Punk fan, but if he really wants to be the "Best in the World" and one of the greatest of all time... he needs to start embracing his supporters a little bit more.

Punk is already an all time great and frankly, I don't give a what he is like outside of the ring. It's none of my concern. CM Punk, the character I know; is the ing man.

I don't blame him. Chance's are he was being bugged at a friends wedding for auto's which would really get under my skin. These days you gotta be a bunghole because people are inconsiderate.

twitter.com/#!/CMPunk/status/140996105969213440 Asking someone for an auto or a picture while taking a leak is enough to piss anyone off. People need to have more common sense and decency.

I have heard a lot of bad Punk stories, but I feel like I've heard more good ones.
I don't want to sound like I'm in denial or anything, but I've also heard Punk can be a bit of a joker. Eh, "never meet your hero."

this. I also clearly remember him calling some guy on twitter an bunghole because the guy was pointing out that Punk was wearing a suit and tie. Punk told him he was at a wedding.

If this is true, it really doesn't surprise me. As much as I enjoy him in the ring and on the mic, most of what I've heard and seen of him outside the ring points to him being a bit of a dick in reality.

Hogan can be iffy at times. Cena is a ING HORRID person to meet, even if you are active military. And Orton USED to be REALLY bad. Now he is pretty friendly.

I mean, you can't really blame him for getting annoyed at things like that, but at the same time it sounds like he could handle these situations better.

So let's say you're famous, at a friends wedding, taking a piss, and someone walks in wanting an auto and a picture....it wouldn't piss you off? God knows it would me and I would be a bunghole.

The two times I've met Cena, he's been amazing. He bought me lunch and hung out for 20minutes. Maybe he just doesn't like you asking him for an autograph every second day?

CM, every time I've met Cena, he's been great.
Orton & Punk are the most unpredictable/rude. I hate when wrestlers are totally ignorant to fans, like they aren't even there.

Did I say that? It would piss anyone off, but no, I wouldn't act like an bunghole at someone's wedding. Punk may not have either; my comment was more based on other stories of his fans interactions. He's not the only wrestler who gets pestered for autographs yet he seems to complain the most.
