If you really think Ron Paul has any chance of winning, you're crazy. He's got no chance - no chance in hell. His ideas scare a lot of people - if you think folks got afraid of Obamacare, wait until you seem them crap their pants about Ron Paul's ideas.
The candidate is gonna be Romney. I think Huntsman is by far the most reasonable but he's got no hope. Ron Paul is the most unreasonable and thankfully he has no hope either. You guys can rant and rave all you want, but tearing down 80 percent of the government and ignoring other countries will be a great way to plummet the US into irrelevance - there's no way this is going to happen. And eleven more months of this - good God I will have lost my mind by then.

But to say that he has "no chance of winning" when it is becoming increasingly likely that he's going to win the very first state, is ridiculous.

I'm very curious as to where you pulled that figure from, and since when was minding our own business unreasonable? We clearly cannot afford the empire anymore.

This reminds me of a certain situation over here in the Scotland. The Scottish government was specifically designed when it came into power in 1999 so that the Scottish nationalists (SNP) never came in to power. Many people and experts said it was virtually impossible for a government to hold a majority here as well.
If i had a £ for every time i was told it was a waste of time voting for the SNP i would be a millionaire. SNP got into power with a minority government in 2007,then won with a gigantic land side in 2011,thus gaining the first majority government in Scotland, enabling them to have unprecedented powers (including the chance to hold a referendum to break away from the UK and be an independent country).
It seems like when you follow politics, you always get alot of people/pundits/experts telling you not to waste your vote on something impossible. That voting for the SNP was a wasted vote (especially here in Edinburgh). But it is not the case, anything is possible. The propaganda and brain washing that goes against the SNP,and the negative press coverage far surpasses anything Ron Paul has to go through, especially when the whole system was against the party. If the SNP can do this, anything is possible. No vote is a wasted vote.

If I put a gun to your head and forced you to bet your life on who won the nomination would you even think for a second about Paul? No. The man has zero chance of winning.

Very much so. He's the second choice of many lower tier candidates so he could get more votes in the caucus. I'd say Iowa is not between Romney and Paul but between Santorum and Paul.

Just because I wouldn't pick him to win doesn't mean he has "zero chance." I wouldn't pick the Broncos to beat the Steelers next week if you put a gun to my head either, but that doesn't mean they have zero chance.

The Broncos have a better chance with the Steelers than Paul does. Paul has zero chance. The Steelers fail to bring their A game and the Broncos might be able to take advantage of it. The only way Paul wins the nomination is if every other candidate walks in front of a bus at the same time.

The only way Paul wins the nomination is if every other candidate walks in front of a bus at the same time. Interesting that he's winning states and has no chance. Love that logic. Also, here's part of the reason why he has struggled. The complete lies being told by the media are always fun to watch. Interesting how they always seem to be AGAINST Dr. Paul. By the way, the end of it, where they threaten to boycott, is preposterous... But the information is interesting regardless.
