It has been my observation that WWE has been phasing out fireworks over the past few years and they have not been assigning new pyro to up-and-coming wrestlers, either.
The only wrestlers that consistently feature pyro today are:
Big Show Airboom Kane
***wrestlers not active with pyro:
*Jericho will likely have pyro when he starts wrestling again *Rey Mysterio (injured) *Sin Cara (injured) *Undertaker- no clue what his deal is
A tremendous number of wrestlers that utilized pyro in their entrances have left WWE, or are no longer using pyro:
-Edge -Kurt Angle -Shawn Michaels -Batista -Jeff Hardy -MVP -John Morrison -Jack Swagger -Shelton Benjamin -Alberto Del Rio (seems to not use his "shower" anymore) -Randy Orton -Goldust

Never really noticed it until you mentioned it.

Well don't expect any pyro for the Royal Rumble. Ever since Undertaker's jacket caught fire in St. Louis at Elimination Chamber, they've stopped using it here. Really? None at all? I remember Undertaker getting flamed, but I'm surprised they've scrapped it all for that venue.

Most people on your list that "stopped" using it either went to TNA, or in Edge's case, retired. There is no truth to this thread. Pyro is always used at the beginning of every show. Neither Stone Cold, nor Rock, nor HHH ever needed pyro to get over. When it's necessary, they use it. They aren't "phasing" them out.

They havent used opening Raw pyro for at least two weeks now. Kinda ruined a bit of my experience going as its should definitely be one of the highlights of a small two hour show.

I'm a sucker for some good pyro. It can only add to the show.

Raw gets pyro 50% of the time and SmackDown gets it probably 1/3 the time. Plus since they've taken NXT/Superstars off TV they haven't used pyro on either of those shows.

At least ppvs are guaranteed.

Why would they give Wade Barrett pyro? It doesnt fit his character, and Pyro should ONLY be used for babyfaces, to get them over.

WWE sometimes seem to use pyro on the wrong people. I'm glad they removed it from Drew McIntyre's entrance.

I like how you bring this up the week that Kane goes ing crazy with pyro EVERYWHERE. But I guess you're right, less people use pyro these days. I can't say that it bothers me, though. I don't really think it's necessary.
