Poor Brady. His WR's really poop the bed today. If he makes a good throw to Welker on that play, it's ice. As ralpho said, (even though it rarely happens) they lost in most part because of Brady. Defense played well.

Eli wins in a town where his brother made his career. That's a gigantic "look at what I can do Peyton, I have won more Championships than you" Also has the second MVP of the game, over his brother too. Great seeing how he went from being Peyton's younger brother, to just breaking out of that shadow to be his own player. Peyton is still the better player, and history will look more fondly at Peyton than Eli. Remember, Peyton has 4 league MVP's and his body of work is more impressive, in my opinion.

Defense played well. It really was all over the place, that 12 men on the field penalty cost them 4 points, Ninkovich being offsides negated a fumble, stupid drops, the Welker drop especially and then the Brady INT...it was just all around. I cant blame Brady for this, not totally.

I want Brady to come home! We need a 6th, 7th and 8th title!

Well I'm not saying that this makes him better than Peyton, but it just now cements his place in history as his own player. He's not just Peyton's little brother on the Giants.

Peyton will never be the same, even if he keeps playing. True, Eli will probably never be as good as Peyton but if he wins another Super Bowl or just has a solid career overall, the argument will def be there

Eli needs atleast one reg season MVP to have Peyton/Eli argument. (Peyton has most all time btw)
Peyton's not completely done though. On the right team next year, he could surprise alot of people. Just two seasons ago he was in the SB himself, let's not forget.

Eli's best season ever, easily.

Unfortunately I think Peyton is done, a neck injury, especially with all the nonsense surrounding it right now...too much for a guy who has already done everything he possibly could.

When was the last time an AFC team actually won the SB?

Justin Tuck played really well too. Hakeem Nicks as well. I wanted him to get the go ahead TD, but I'm not gonna complain.
Eli simply is the man. Easily can make the argument for Top 5 currently.

I would have rather watched Peyton do commercials than the crap they showed tonight

But just on a team as SF for example? Would make things helluva lot more interesting if Peyton finds himself in the NFC. Maybe it's my love for Peyton...but idk he's arguably the hardest working player in the league, always striving to be the best. Wont be easy to keep him down, that's for sure. And briguy, I'm assuming Peyton requested to not be shown on tv. He seemed really uncomfortable being a topic of discussion during this week.

I don't know why people keep mentioning SF. Hes not going there. I just used it as an example. But still, if anyone is satisfied or content with Alex Smith, then they must not be serious about winning it all. He is a game manager, nothing more. You could wheel Peytons ass out there in a wheel chair, and he would still be a better option than Smith.

Peyton can be an upgrade, of course. Even at 50% hes better than most of the QB's in the league but I hope people arent expecting All World Hall of Fame Peyton to rescue their team, because its not gonna happen.
