If they do polish it, I won't mind. They need some Spring 2014 releases I don't mind either, but I get the feeling it doesn't need the polish. I think they pushed it back because they know Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros, Yoshi Yarn, and X are all summer or fall 2014 releases. If they could somehow bring the new Zelda out next fall then they would be sitting pretty. Mario Kart, Zelda, and Smash Bros all in the same year = $$$$$$ They're gonna make me broke next year. I need them.

Donkey Kong delayed? NOOOOO! But, Kirby announced for 3DS? Nice. Bummer. Luckily, they'll have plenty of other games available to keep me preoccupied.

The industry pumps so many quality looking games out, you just can't possibly have the time to play them all, sadly. Although I will say that Bayonetta will probably be $30-$40 somewhere within 2-3 months of release. The first didn't sell all that well on the PS3/360 and I can't see it doing well in an even more limited market of just the Wii U. Sadly, Platinum's games just don't sell well. It will save me $20-$30 though.

The first one was a great game. It just doesn't have the appeal to attract casual gamers, which, in my opinion, is a good thing as far as gameplay goes. It's nice to see some studios still put gameplay first during a time where most games are watered down to appeal to a wider audience.
The big key for Bayonetta 2 is how Nintendo markets the game. The Wonderful 101, another game by Platinum, was basically sent to die by Nintendo. Almost no marketing and it was released a week before Zelda on the Wii U. I mean I appreciate the fact that Nintendo saved me $30 or so since it bombed and it will be $20-$30 within a few months, but, the game is really good and deserved better.

Is anyone else slightly disappointed with Super Mario 3D land? I wanted somemore like galaxy or sunshine that followed a story and felt more open world, not a 3D version of Super mario bros 3.

I can't say the same. I grew tired of the Sunshine/Galaxy gameplay and I'm happy that Super Mario 3D Land will give us something new and unique.

I was until I saw all the new media they've released from the game over the past month or two. It's looking way better than the E3 demo. I do hope that they do Galaxy 3 as the final Galaxy game just to see what they could do with HD graphics and more power.

As a kid Sunshine was my absolute favourite game on the Game Cube. I think it would go to far to have a third version of Galaxy.

Super Mario 3D World is better than Super Mario 3D land by far, but still not what I wanted. I will still buy it either way. Always been a huge fan of Mario, even if they release a game that is completely terrible, I'll still buy it. Not saying 3D world is terrible, seems like a fun plat former.

I marked when I saw that Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad were playable characters with their special abilities. Im so excited to play as all of them.

What exactly were you looking for? I admit that it wasn't what most Mario fans were looking for as most want a new Galaxy style game. But after seeing all of the gameplay video's released, I can't help but feel it looks just as good, if not better, than those games. I am just glad it wasn't another NSMB style game as they are getting stale in my opinion.

(Love the Bowser theme park world!)

I'd love to see a Sunshine HD remake. It makes more sense that than the Galaxy HD remakes that everyone is asking for. You can play Galaxy on Wii U. You can't do that for Sunshine. Sunshine HD remake for Wii U and Majora's Mask remake for 3DS, pls Nintendo.

The Pikmin 3 DLC coming out looks amazing! It's the first time they've created brand new challenge levels from scratch (not remixing the on-disc stages). I think the challenge levels are one of the best parts about the game, hardly just an "extra" like it may seem on the surface, so this is great news. The Christmas stage is free with the update in December.

I figured it was going to be really good. I expect the game to have a 9+ on metacritic.
