I played a Hyrule Warriors demo at Best Buy. It was so addictive. I'm going to pre-order it with Bayonetta 2 tomorrow. Glad to hear. It's out soon and I'm looking forward to it!

I wish I could get excited for it. I watched basically every video, the treehouse at E3, the direct, and it's just doing nothing for me. The combat looks so dull. Can't like everything I suppose. But I will say it hurts me to say I am not interested to play a game where I could play as Ganondorf and Midna.

Maybe it helps if you have someone to play with locally? I can't wait to play as Ruto. It's a bit hard for me to get majorly excited to play on anything when Smash is out in 3 short weeks over here. FREAKING DUCK HUNT DOG.

The game handled smoothly and the combat was far less repetitive than it seemed in videos.

Yea I have no one to play it with locally. I will buy it if it reaches $20. Too many other games for the XB1 to take a chance on this game for $60.

Hyrule Warriors will never reach $20. However, it's pretty fun. If you're a fan of Zelda or Dynasty Warriors, you'll probably feel right at home.

Well, somebody has bought every Wii U game ever made, and... well, I know the system isn't that gold but jeez this seems like a small library: I mean I have like 12 games (including 2 I got for free off the eShop) and feel like I've gotten my money's worth but it's like... you'd expect a bit more.

I bought my Wii a few weeks back, and I've been having a lot of fun playing the three games that I have so far. Hyrule Warriors is the one I've put the most time into, but Rayman Legends is great as well. Maybe I'm just not as up to date on gaming news, but I can't believe it didn't get that much attention. So much fun, and it uses the gamepad really well. The Mario Bros games that came with the Wii U I bought aren't as fun for me, but I think that's just because I'm not very good at Mario games in general and don't really like to run controls (would rather it be like Rayman where you hold R or L to run instead of the run button being right next to the jump button). I originally bought the console for Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros, so I'm pleasantly surprised I have played it so much without having either of those games yet.

Thus far for me Wind Waker HD, Hyrule Warriors, NSMB U, Mario Kart 8, Mass Effect 3, and Smash Bros. in November have been the games that I feel make the Wii U worth its value (yes, I know ME3 is already available everywhere else and with more content).

I'm thinking of buying a Wii U this fall. I'm not too interested in Smash, but more so interested in the Legend of Zelda games. Are there any games that you guys would consider "sleeper hits" and worth buying a console over? I really have an urge to play some solid platformers. These are the games that currently interest me: The Windwaker HD (Fantastic Game, I'd like to play again) Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze The Super Mario Series Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Skylanders games are pretty excellent platformers even if you aren't into the collecting angle. You can beat the game without buying any extra characters but you can't 100%.

I picked up Mario Kart last weekend. Haven't really had a chance to play a ton, but hopefully that will change with the upcoming weekend. The Mercedes DLC is pretty cool and it's funny to see Mercedes cars driving around in the Mario Kart levels. I'm really excited for the DLC this coming weekend.
I may preorder the Link Amiibo, since it's compatible with three of the games I have and Link is currently my go to character in Smash as it is. The weapon you get with him in Hyrule Warriors looks pretty cool and it wouldn't be too shabby to have a Mii with Link's race getup either. I'm truly surprised at how many different games they're making them compatible with, makes me feel like they might just be more than just a gimmick that I think they will end up being.

The N!N3DS majora's mask edition sold out in 15 minutes on gamestop's site.
For anyone wanting one, you better get to the store. They're going to sell out of preorders by the day. You have to shell out the whole amount though.

Bought a 2DS a couple days ago as kind of a spur of the moment thing, now I see the announcement of the New 3DS and find myself wondering if I should try to return the 2DS, problem is that it came with a download code I've already claimed...
Decisions... Decisions...

People knew it was coming and many assumed it was soon, if you bought one during the holiday season you really have no one to blame but yourself. I've had the same 3DS since shortly after it launched (Ambassador program FTW) so I think it's about time to upgrade for me. Majora's Mask on launch makes it a lock.

Decisions... Decisions... Can't you just put the game on an SD card and transfer it over to the New 3DS?

From what I've read, games only work on the 3DS they are downloaded on. You can't just take the file and throw it on a different DS.
I've also realized that odds are since I've already used the one time use game code (Mario Kart packed with the system) the store probably won't take it back.
