The SMO clips that are appearing online look mighty fun. I'm just worried about how many hours you can get into that game before you 100% it. It looks very big and impressive, but a part of me also feels that it might be lacking abit of depth.

Went to Target 5 minutes before opening and scored a SNES Classic. So it looks like Nintendo is making good on their claim of producing more systems. I believe people were reporting last year with the NES that some stores were getting no more than 10. I'd say my Target had at least 50, maybe more

There was also no one waiting in line or in electronics when he got there which leads me to believe they might have opened their doors early which is kinda shady. The Walmart I went to I had lined up at like 4 AM and they didn't open until 7 on the dot.

Thinking about getting a Nintendo Switch. Heard mixed reviews. Anybody can tell me if it's pretty good graphic and gameplay wise. One game I'm wanting is Mario Odyssey so any reviews of that is also welcomed along with some other games.

I’ve had mine since launch day and my excitement has only grown. Graphics are good, 1080p docked, 720p undocked. Gameplay is smooth, controls are responsive. There are also numerous ways to play, so you get a ton of different experiences. Super Mario Odyssey is the game of the year. The console is worth buying for it alone. The library is already incredible after only eight months. I’m actually behind on games. The Switch has reignited my love of video games. I’m having the most fun I’ve had in a long, long time.

What about if you're considering getting a 2DS XL? I can only game portable, so would it still be worth getting a Switch for only the portable play?

Got an SNES Classic a few weeks ago. Messed with it to get pretty much every SNES game I ever wanted on there. Worth it if you're going to go to that length. Definitely some of the best $80 I've ever spent.
That said, anyone else with this having controller issues? I'm a huge Super PunchOut fan and some 'moves' in that game basically require you to press 'up' then simply let go of the d-pad and neither one of my controls register this. I want to crack them open and see if there's anything I can to do fix them. Anyone ever done this/have any experience with it?

Anybody know if there's any truth to the rumors of Nintendo releasing a more powerful dock for the Switch? After playing one at a Target I'm ready thinking security getting one. I just wish they were more powerful and had a deeper library of games. I know it's still new and the will get better. I just hope that Nintendo continues trying to please casual gamers, kids and the hardcore gamers.

It's too bad. I wish it was true. I don't think Nintendo truly understands what they have created. The Switch is a unique product that could actually please everyone. The current version is great and an upgraded or "Pro" version could take Sony and Microsoft on as a powerhouse console.

The way I have to deal with Super PunchOut legit makes me want to throw things. I have all 3 models (NA, EU, and JP). One of the EU controllers started messing up. It was acting as if the L button was constantly pressed. Called Nintendo of America and they couldn’t replace since it wasn’t the US version. Ended up buying a US controller from them for $10 and then swapped out the guts. Every other one has worked fine.

WWE on Switch I heard was garbage. I think the only thing playable is a one on one regular match. Any more than two wrestlers on the screen suffers from massive lag. This is what I’ve read. Do not know from personal experience. 12 Switch also haven’t played but never looked to be that much fun. From what I gathered it’s an OK game to mess around with for a little bit but nothing you ever want to go back to. Id get Zelda for sure. You don’t really need much else right now because that is gonna take up most of your gaming time. Maybe a second game like Kart or Rocket League that isn’t as time consuming you can play in between Zelda sessions. There’s a lot of good indies in the eshop to check out. Snipperclips is a fun two player puzzle game. Celeste looks really good.
