So in love with this show, last nights episode was heartbreaking. Jesus Christ. Can't say I'm a fan of how Carl is just suddenly being a little prick, it's more annoying than anything. I definitely think that last two episodes were the strongest ones this season (so far).

Spoilers (kinda): Way to Carl you little bastard...you got the mechanic killed! Now who is going to fix the ing RV? Duh, Hershel. He can magically ward off zombies from his farm, perform surgery, repair extremely torn leg muscles and tend to a farm all at the same time. Surely he can fix an RV

I liked the episode. Don't get why Carl didn't tell someone he came across a zombie stuck in the mud area. Don't get why these people don't take the zombie threat as serious as they should. No reason that anyone should be out alone. I just don't like how a zombie "snuck up" on Dale. I don't think I'll miss Dale too much because hes values seem to hold the group back, they can't be the society they're used to, they need to evolve their ways in order to survive.
I'm guessing that alot of the cast will be killed in some big zombie horde attack. T-Dogg hasn't done anything since ep 1 of the 2nd season when he got his arm cut.
That new kid should be killed. He come off creapy, and I'm sure he did his fair share of the daughter story. Was hoping at one point Carl would do what his dad couldn't. This kid has seen alot of death and violence, he should become hardened and turn into a Shane like character that does what needs to be done for the group.
So now the zombies will kill non-humans to eat? Granted this was established earlier when they fed chickens to the zombies in the barn.

So now the zombies will kill non-humans to eat? Granted this was established earlier when they fed chickens to the zombies in the barn. I found the whole attack a little suspect. If the zombie was "hungry" like we've seen in the past, wouldn't it just be feeding on the dead cow? I guess the walkers just kill living things and walk away? Of course, the walker sneaking up on Dale silently in a completely open field is ridiculous. Why the hell was he out there alone? Why the hell was Carl all alone? Did no one notice that the kid was gone and boosted a gun? All very intriguing questions. This is probably the dumbest group of survivors, they are lucky they are in a safe haven or else they'd be dead. I always wondered, they know the walkers try to bite you, ever think about, you know, some body armor when you venture out on scavenger missions? An extra layer of clothes, cover you neck/face/arms???

The ending last night really pissed me off not that they offed dale(whom i loved) but that the zombie ripped open his stomach, that is so cheesy and impossible it really took the serious tone away from me completely. If the next 2 episodes arent amazing ill go back to the comics and forget the show.

I understood the concepts where everyone wanted to kill the mob gather and the old man didn't want to and in a ironic twist where the zombie kills him. But other then, that this show seems horrible, where are the bloody grudge scenes?
It was just 90% nonlogical babbling mixed with a kid throwing a rock at a zombie in the forest in the river. Seems somewhat a drag but I'll watch the next 2-3 episodes and see if any thing picks up. Just awful though...

For those of you who are all up in arms about Dale being by himself, you have to remember they're on the farm. It's what they believed to be a safe haven. Granted, it's always stupid to be alone, but they let their guard down considering their location.

I'm more up in arms about him not being able to hear, see, or smell a 180 pound rotting corpse sneaking up behind him in a completely open field. Also, the walker had the power to rip him open. Couldn't get out of mud, or hold on to an 8 year old boy's ankle for more than 2 seconds, but had the power to wrestle Dale to the ground and disembowel him with two hands. Not buying it

I think the walker only had one free leg when he had a hold of Carl's foot. I don't see a walker having the same strength crawling/stuck in the ground as the do while standing and not being stuck.

I say it makes perfect sense for the walker to be like that. Its been clear the whole series that if a walker gets closer to warm flowing blood, it gets more aggressive, more angry, more volatile, and possibly stronger.
The closer Carl got to the walker the more angrier and aggressive it appeared to be getting. The more riled up it got.
It makes perfect sense that it got more aggressive the closer it had gotten to Dale.

I dont think anyone is debating whether it got more aggressive near Dale, of course it did, it disemboweled him. Its how it got there and how it happened.

Its not even possible to disembowel someone like that, especially this weak frail zombie and doing it so easily and quickly. It was a dumb death.

They really should have just had the walker bite him.

Must really bug you when a zombie rips right through flesh with ease with nothing but it's teeth, huh? This "frail" zombie rips open a cow, but that part apparently doesn't bug you... but it happening to Dale is just not possible?

The Cow wouldve outrun the walker. No way its taking down a cow.
