Ving Rhames in 2004's Dawn of the Dead made it to the very end of the movie, but well played.
Too bad T-Dog is only still alive because everyone forgot he was there for a majority of this season. I'm sure Shane would have probably killed him if he got out of the RV more than once every 4 episodes, or said anything beyond "oh hell nawh"

I had no idea they were making a Walking Dead game for PS3 & XBOX. Siiiiiiick. There was an article on it in one of the last 3 or 4 issues of OXM on it, can't wait for that either. Apparently its a 5 part series for the Xbox Arcade & PlayStation Online. The first part is supposed to be released sometime during Spring. Oh, and its based on the comic book!

Being that the show has turned up wildly successful, I'd disagree. That doesn't change the fact that the writing, from what I've seen online, is universally PANNED by critics. A lot of things are popular without being that good.

A lot of things are popular without being that good. Its also weird because the show is very popular, and the merchandise sells well, yet AMC slashed the budget for the show.

I don't really care if the critics don't like the writing, or the show. I am enjoying it so far. If every episode was them running like crazy and blasting zombies the whole show, that would get old real quick.

Yeah, "critics" don't determine what I like, and what I don't. And as far as people on the internet go, apparently everything sucks. That doesn't change the fact that the writing, from what I've seen online, is universally PANNED by critics. A lot of things are popular without being that good. Its also weird because the show is very popular, and the merchandise sells well, yet AMC slashed the budget for the show. You can thank "Mad Men" for that.

I can't think of any other show that has sucked me in and kept me as well as Walking Dead has the past two seasons.
Apparently, the writing = win.

I don't think I could pick between Walking Dead & Mad Men. I love them both so much.
On a happier note, less than 72 hours away!

I can see why critics would pan it but it is NOT a bad show. Granted, it is not an ART show or HIGHLY intellectual but it is wildly entertaining and "popcorn" tv.

Six comics contained in each book. I've got all the way up #14, even though I was buying individual issues since around #60. Anyone preorder the new "Cutting Room Floor" hardcover? Also, anyone that hasn't should most definitely read "Rise of the Governor".

I can't wait for the Zombie Apocalypse, bring on the walking dead!
If anyone really loves the show you have to read the graphic novels, so much more in depth! As soon as I finished I turned right back to page 1 and started again, what a great story!
