WWE is hoping Wade Barrett will be back by July so he can be advertised prominently for SummerSlam according to PWInsider.com
Before Barrett went down with an injury, he was scheduled to win Money in the Bank at WrestleMania 28 and eventually challenge CM Punk for the WWE Title.
According to reports, the Money in the Bank match may be moved to SummerSlam this year just so Barrett can win it and begin his long awaited push.

Good. Wade deserves a push, not to be buried by Orton or Cena or whomever he is feuding with. I've liked Wade since he won NXT.

I don't buy it. They wouldn't bump a match based on one person getting injured if that was the plan.

I was hoping to see a MITB match at WM 28 but seeing as there's been no mention of it anywhere... don't see it happening. I'd be down for one at SS though.

Why not just give him some solid feuds and wins, and then the next logical step is to challenge for the title? Why is money in the bank necessary? Unless has a real match when he cashes in, then it's nothing we haven't seen before. When was the last time someone won their first world title in a legit match?

If this is true and I doubt it is that is in sad on WWE's part. They can't build a star properly so they just give him a briefcase to get over to the main event?

Why is it that the only way for young talent to break into the main event scene is via MITB.
That's stupid.

They said that when Barrett got injured that money in the bank was canceled, well on the news sites it did.
I mean when they only guy you want to win it and have pegged for it, gets injured why not cancel it.

I don't mind Barrett at all, but if he's gonna to win it, I'd much rather see him go after Sheamus (if he wins) than Punk.
But there are other guys who could have won MITB in his place.
Ziggler is the first name that comes to mind. He is beyond ready to make the Main Event leap. Same could be said for Rhodes. His match with Big Show isn't going to do anyone favors.
Christian is another. How great would it have been for Christian to cash it in on Orton a few days after Orton wins it back? All to get revenge for Orton ending his first reign. And personally I wouldn't have any issues with another feud between them.
Miz could have used MITB to get himself back to the top. Same for Del Rio or Henry.

Well if it is true at least we finally can get the Barrett vs Punk feud that we didn't get to see from late 2010/early 2011. Both guys still have unfinished business from the Nexus days and they'll put on a classic wrestling match and great promos.
Barrett still doesn't need MITB and he should go for the World Title and be a top dog on SD for most of 2012 instead of going for the WWE Title where he will get a short reign on Raw. If Sheamus beats Bryan at WM then Barrett should be the one to end Sheamus's reign.

Heath Slater must win the MITB, Barrett can wait for next year!
I wouldn't like to see MITB at SummerSlam, but it could work.

Why are they desperate to push someone who so badly needs to go back to FCW to brush up on his skills and mic skills.

I'm all for Barrett finally being pushed into the main event and feuding with CM Punk. However it'd be nice to see someone other than Mark Henry win their first World/WWE Title be normal means, anyway I'd still be all for this. This leads to me to think Barrett will be drafted to Raw if they do indeed go this route. As for MITB becoming a SummerSlam tradition I actually don't mind that either. Also I'd like to see a fued with Shemaus over the World Title as well.

Not really sure how I feel about this one. On one hand, Wade is a great talent. He deserves the push more than someone like The Miz. On the other, I feel like Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, and Kofi Kingston are all better choices to receive that type of push.
I would not argue against a Money in the Bank push and title regin, considering he probably should have gotten a title run as a part of Nexus.

Exactly, the Nexus should have came in and swooped up all the titles, Barrett should of been WWE Champion then, money in the bank is a poor way of getting him back in the main event.

Why is everyone complaining about guys using MITB to get over?
That is kinda what it's for. To give an upper mid carder that push into the main event (unless youre jack swagger)
