Last night, TNA Impact Wrestling star Kurt Angle went on a long Twitter rant, then subsequently deleted many of the Tweets from his account which he has not claimed was hacked in any way. The following are several of the Tweets Angle posted:
"I plan on retiring in TNA! But what if I wanted main event at WMania One More Time? Fans say yes I'm the Best today! If Wwe never wants Me, their Mistake. What then?"
"I will retire in Tna. I Love It Here. But what if I wanted one last WMania? How would the fans respond? I would kick ass"
When asked which WWE stars he would most like to wrestle, he said CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.
He became a top star in WWE in 1 year, "but it took Shawn and Austin 15years. Hello?" He says he respects both Austin and Michaels, "But Could Either of U take Me as a Shoot? Be Honest!" He later clarified, "by the way! I Love Austin and Michaels. Just Joking. U guys are legends!"
When a fan told him to go back to WWE and take Sting with him. Angle replied with, "I wish. Sting will stay in tna."

To quote someone from the WZ comment section... Retiring in front of 200 people in an amusement park instead of retiring in front of nearly 100,000 people at a WM in the WWE is the best possible way to retire for a drunk bitter guy like Angle.
Angle is the last big name yet to return and a return and final run would be epic but in the past few years hes turned into a prick. Would still love a return though. Angle vs Punk and Angle vs Bryan would be two great dream matches.

Kurt is so ridiculous. He's basically like "yeah I love TNA....but if WWE ever wants me I'll go back!". WWE doesn't want him so he keeps saying how much he loves TNA and it's WWE's loss. If he really WANTED to be in TNA why does he keep bringing up WWE and how easily he could leave TNA and comeback to WWE? Why talk about WWE or WWE wrestlers at all? Because he WISHES he was in WWE, he said it right there that he wishes he and Sting could go to WWE but it's "WWE's loss".
So clearly he has no choice but to stay in TNA, it's not like he has other options or he's staying there because he WANTS to stay there. WWE wants Sting. WWE has tried to get Sting numerous times and Sting has chosen to stay in TNA. Kurt Angle is basically like "WWE TAKE ME TAKE ME TAKE ME" and they say no so he's like "I'M RETIRING IN TNA"......yeah Kurt, because you have no choice!
This is why celebrities shouldn't be allowed to use twitter.....not every idiot with a stupid comment should have the ability to have it be seen by millions any time they want.

He's in a BAD spot down in TNA whether he outright admits it or not. I mean geez, the former owner of the company he works, who still has some power, married his ex-wife and they all still work together. That can't be good at all in any way, shape or form.
Business is business and I'm sure they all act professionally, but it's a whole different story when you still have to see your ex-wife all the time and she's married to your co-worker/boss.

Don't really see anything wrong with what he said. Blatantly disrespecting two guys who busted their asses to help him get over? Nothing wrong with that. I'd say Angle twitter account has entered the Tyson Zone, but you really have to be somewhat relevant to people other than yourself to make it to that level. Angle embarrasses himself every time he sends a tweet. |
