Mate, I will address your point on the ASW 9 Main Event. I am not a "wimpy" kind of guy when it comes to deathmatch wrestling. I dont like it, but I watch TOD and COD each year without any problems. The match was going fine, until the staple, salt, and powerbomb spot. That really grossed me out of it too the point of no return. Look at Steen during the match, he was disgusted. I was disgusted, doesnt belong in PWG folks. Have you seen Steen/Dragon? I thought that was so much more violent. The most violent part of ASW9 was that gash which happened minutes into the match accidentaly. Everything was very tame IMO. Watching Steen take Psycho Drivers while handcuffed on to Tacks and Barbed wire was a ton more violent and made me a lot more uncomfortable. I don't understand how that match bothered you at all if you can watch TOD and COD. Haven't seen Steen/Dragon actually, never got the DVD for that show. Probably will be on the Dragon DVD? I dont know either lol, it just really did. Perhaps it was the atmosphere of the place? of Steen? even the crowd were pretty shocked. I just never expected that to take place in a PWG ring. I dont know man.

And you should check out Steen/Dragon I don't know if its on the Dragon DVD because its on PWG:Sells Out and Dragon/Punk was on that DVD and is not on the Dragon DVD. One of my favorite matches despite it being really uncomfortable to watch. I saw it in 07 or 08 years after the match and was still extremely worried about Steens health lol. Just watched Edwards/O'Reilly on BOLA12'. Kyle is the only wrestler that's ever reminded me of Danielson. That is not a bad thing.

Kyle works so smart in the ring, so smart and so smoothly. Such a great wrestler.

Adding to our discussion from yesterday Cage was ALOT more crisp in the ring before he put on the ridiculous amount of muscle. Give him time to get used to his body and he'll be great. Edit: B-Boy is underrated in PWG IMO. I've soured on him the past few years but the PWG binge I've been on the past few days has changed my opinion. He's still great when he wants to be.

If this is locked because of a disagreement, then that's sad. No anger from either myself nor KVE, so I personally wouldn't consider this a "fight". Although I'm sure the powers that be, will... as a discussion on a forum isn't allowed. Haha Quite the contrary, I thought KvE and yourself were being quite behaved as far as debates on the internet go. As long as insults are kept out of it, i'm good. /quote] dookie head.

Richards/Elgin from BOLA12' reminds me how much I used to enjoy Elgin. Good match, they had pretty much an instant replay of it on ROH TV a few months later. re: deathmatch type stuff in PWG - I really hated that Sami/Drake match. Hated it. Stuff like that is fine in CZW where it's pretty much accepted as the norm (or was, I guess) but that's just a bit much for PWG. Steen/Dragon might have been more violent in some regards but they didn't do anything as outright stupid and garbage as the salt. That's like...IWA Japan levels of stupidity.

I'd take salt over Glass, Lightubes or Barbed Wire any day. Salt can't kill you unless your consuming a crapload of it. That's why I don't see the big deal with the salt. Its something I've never been a fan of. I thought it is stupid but it didn't hurt the match. They just didn't have a good one surprisingly.

Ever had a big open wound and had someone pour salt in it as a joke? It's not fun. I'd rather see light tubes and sh-t like that if I had to see some deathmatch type crap. Anything's better than gusset plates though. Anything. There's no excuse for that crap being anywhere near a wrestling ring.

This place is popping now, eh? I kinda miss TJP in PWG; I was hoping a few years back the match he had with SAWA would somehow make it in PWG; would have loved to see the reception it would've got with the Reseda fans... The issue I have with Elgin and Cage is a very small one; we know they are physically the strongest and most imposing guys on the roster, but the frequently wrestle much smaller guys like the Inner City Machine Guns and the African American Wolves; ostensibly needing to sell for those guys to make it look like it's not a one-sided squash; if they split but each teamed with a smaller guy each IMO it would be more plausible to have varied matches rather than two huge guys doing moonsaults and topes...just my opinion... I was thinking today how awesome it would be to see TJP/ZSJ in PWG. They had an amazing match at WXW's first Philly show and it was a ing cracker for sure. I'd love to see them work with a crowd that actually appreciates a very technical match. Edit: I actually prefer seeing Unbreakable F'n Machines vs. ICMG and AAW. That's the only time I really enjoy Elgin anymore. Cage I enjoy all the time. But Elgin works better again smaller guys. I hate that he feels the need to bump like a racquet ball for Ricochet and company but he puts on better matches with those guys then he does against people like Adam Cole. That's the one thing that makes Cage better then Elgin IMO. Cage doesn't do anything rediculous like block a sunset flip and then take a reverse rana from the same person a minute later. He uses his size much better then Elgin IMO.

Annnnd it's moves like this that make me not like ACH. I hate moves like that and the Lethal Injection. Basically anything that makes it abundantly clear the guy taking it has to jump into it.

Arguably the worst move in pro wrestling and Adam Cole found a way to make it suck even more. I commend him for his efforts!

That match was really good, probably my second favorite of Night 1 behind Cage/Ciampa. Gargano/Willie was real good too.

Currently finishing BOLA12' since I never got around to watching it originally. Cage/Elgin is damn good. Much better then I expected. Elgin was too damn good around this time. Even though I'm not a huge Elgin fan anymore I'd love to see Elgin/Cage go at it again.

It started as a discussion about Guerilla Warfare matches but I understand what your saying. No hard feelings.
Watching the past two BOLA's is getting me hyped up so much for this years spectacle of a tournament. I've forgotten that Eleven is right around the corner so many times due to the amount of hype BOLA is getting.

First half was a little disappointing, Ricochet vs. ACH was very good but a tad underwhelming, Tag Match was Good, Main Event was AWESOME.
