I need to know if anybody likes these things, including kids. Obviously collectors hate em, and when I asked my 6 year old nephew how he felt about them, he said "they suck" and that he can't play very well with them. Who is buying these, and why is it all my local stores are stocked up in them???

I've often wondered this myself.
I have to think that kids don't actually like these, but out of touch parents are buying these for their kids when they're by themselves. I doubt kids are picking these out. Smash Scenes excluded. :/
Your nephew's opinion seems to be the feeling shared by everyone who's encountered these.

I dont buy flexforce or rumblers. I buy a few basics. Just collect elites legends, DM and EG figures. Thats it pretty much.

My daughter seems to like the talking ones, but other than that it really doesn't matter. The problem is that each figure is limited to it's one feature which does suck when a someone wants to have match with them.
I can see why Flex Force is on the market, but the Flex Force lightning is a complete waste of plastic.
On a side note, my girlfriend has become educated enough on WWE figures that when we have a kids B-Day where we have to buy a gift and if it is a kid we barely know, or the kid of one of her co-workers that she isn't fond of she'll tell me to either "FlexForce 'em" or "Cena 'em".

my 6 yr old prefers "bendy legs" wrestlers. AKA elites. After discovering elites, hes all but abandoned basics because they dont bend much. lol RIP my wallet (my collecting plus his)

I don't understand the point of Flex Force figures anymore.
I thought Flex Force started out as a less expensive alternative for younger children....every store I go to, and on Mattel's own website (mattelshop), Flex Force figures are now either the same price or cost MORE than Basic figures....
With the majority of Flex Force figures having no knee/leg articulation and having almost no detail (logo's/tattoos, etc), I'm not exactly sure what target audience Flex Force are supposed to appeal to anymore.
As a parent if I'm going to buy the cheapest figure for my kid I'm going to go with a Basic, and as a kid I'm probably going to want the Basic for the better play or the Elites for the accessories......unless Mattel thinks all young kids have ADD and go for figures that have moving parts or blinky lights, lol.

Not sure about the new lightup ones, but prior to those they moved very well in my area. It seemed like TRU/Target/WM always had the newer figures in a timely fashon and there were never any older ones left.

They do ok around me but I haven't seen any new ones since the start of the year with Wade. The light up ones just sit because they're way expensive at $17 around here I think. I only have 3 FF and they're Orton, Y2J in blue, and Miz in red.

I think you're right about out of touch parents buying these, my nephew got the light-up Cena from his dad and I remember his face when he received it, such disappointment lol

There was a hardcore fan on here by the name of flexforcehater. His intense love for the figures made people sick to their very core so he had to go.

I dont like them, but they are perfect for Little Jimmys who like to bend arms and legs in all directions. I am not sure if my TRU has even sold a single Flex Force figure since Jan 1 2010 though

I absolutely hate them. I don't know what some people(if anybody) see's what special about them and throws there money down the toilet. Mattel is wasting there time with the line. Most irritating thing is going into a TRU or Target and find nothing but shelf warmers full of FlexForce.

Here in Montreal they are the only figs in all the stores I've checked, so my only way of collecting is online, very frustrating.
