TNA Wrestling was ready to present another one of their monthly pay-per-views on Mothers Day 2012 (May 13th) with "Sacrifice". The event had been built around Bobby Roode putting his TNA World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Rob Van Dam. TNA Wrestling had laid the plan out weeks in advance for Bobby Roode to defeat Rob Van Dam and walk out the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, but during the usual pre-show meeting.. Hulk Hogan had other ideas. Hogan ran down the idea of Bobby Roode beating the last "real face of TNA Wrestling", proclaiming that Van Dam should be the one that iMPACT Wrestling is built on. Hogan seemingly changing his tune on building up the likes of Bobby Roode. Carter dismissed everyone from the meeting and thought about the side she would choose for around and hour.
The word spread like wildfire throughout the locker room, with many not shocked that Hulk Hogan has changed his tune (again) on who he wants to see at the top of the company. Many of the top talents like Kurt Angle and AJ Styles speaking to Dixie Carter about Hogan's demands for Van Dam to defeat Bobby Roode. It wasn't until Carter placed a phone call to another person that she could trust - Sting - that she understood what many of the talents had been saying for months about Hulk Hogan. They didn't say it to her face, but she heard the whispers about Hogan being "bad news" for the long-term future of the company.
Dixie Carter called Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, and the creative team back into the meeting room to announce that the plan for Bobby Roode to defeat Rob Van Dam was still on and none of the show was to be changed, everything was final. Hogan (and Bischoff) were furious at Dixie over the fact that for the first time since January 2011 when Hogan "took over".. she didn't side with him.
The show would go off without a hitch.. on-camera but backstage was a different story. Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter were in a meeting room for the entire duration of the pay-per-view discussing the issue earlier in the evening about the main event. She would drop a "bombshell" on Hulk Hogan by saying that he would no longer have any control nor input regarding the creative direction of the company, mainly because he was wishy-washy on what he wanted. Hogan would make - what seemed to be - an empty threat to use the clause in his contract for a dismal from the company, but Carter seemed to convince him to stay with the company in an on-screen role.
-----------------
TNA Sacrifice 2012
- Kazarian and Christopher Daniels defeated Samoa Joe and Magnus to become the new TNA World Tag Team Champions
- Gail Kim defeated Brooke Tessmacher to retain the TNA Knockout Championship
- Devon defeated Robbie E and Robbie To to retain the TNA World Television Championship in a triple thread.
- Mr. Anderson defeated Jeff Hardy
- Crimson defeated Eric Young
- Bully Ray defeated Austin Aries
- Kurt Angle defeated AJ Styles
- Bobby Roode defeated Rob Van Dam to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship
-----------------
When the "iMPACT Wrestling" tapings rolled around the next day, many had already heard about the meeting where Carter removed Hogan from any creative input. The thing none of the talent knew was Hogan and Carter were already meeting again, as Hogan had made the choice for himself and Eric Bischoff to get an "early out" on their contracts. Carter wouldn't allow it before speaking to the SpikeTV officials, who assured Dixie Carter that they (SpikeTV) were behind iMPACT Wrestling as a company, not one single person. And with that.. Hulk Hogan and iMPACT Wrestling would party ways.. and Hogan would be "written off" television on the next episode of iMPACT.

TNA iMPACT Wrestling May 17th, 2012 Orlando, Florida
iMPACT would kick off with a video package looking back at the Sacrifice pay-per-view, closing with comments from both Bobby Roode and Rob Van Dam regarding the ladder match. Van Dam promises that he will get another shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
The music of Bobby Roode would follow-up the video package, with Roode making his way down to the ring. Bobby Roode would cut a promo proclaiming that he has defeated every single challenger that Hulk Hogan and iMPACT Wrestling management throw at him. He states that he will retire as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion as there are not anymore "heroes" for him to beat.
This brings out Mr. Anderson, who calls for his microphone to drop on top of the stage. Anderson explains that Bobby Roode was right on the money regarding their not being anymore heroes for him to beat. Anderson names off all the guys that Bobby Roode has defeated like AJ Styles, Sting, James Storm, and recently Rob Van Dam to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He tells Roode that he should be given an award for all the "nice guys" he's beaten, which proves that nice guys.. finish last. Roode nods in agreement, thinking Anderson is on his side.. until Anderson proclaims that's why he's glad to be an.. asshole! He lets go of the microphone and comes strolling to the ring, but Bobby Roode bails from the ring before Anderson gets to him.
The two yell at each other until the music of "The Icon" Sting hits! Sting comes out onto the stage to announce that Hulk Hogan has resigned from the general manager position and was no longer apart of iMPACT Wrestling, to the shock of the fans. This news would delight the World Heavyweight Champion, until Sting announces he would be taking back over as the general manager role in the mean time. He then makes a main event between Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson to see who will face Bobby Roode at Slammiversary due to the controversial finish at Sacrifice!
Commercial Break
"The Icon" Sting is shown walking backstage when he's approached by Rob Van Dam, who questions why he wasn't given a chance to earn the World Title Shot at Slammiversary. Sting says that Van Dam had the perfect situation to win the World Heavyweight Championship, a ladder match but lost and will have to go to the back of the line. Van Dam isn't too happy with the reasoning of Sting.
Kid Kash defeated Anthony Neese; The X-Division would kick off this episode of iMPACT with the veteran taking on the rookie of Neese. Kid Kash would pick up the victory following a pile driver. Following the match, Kid Kash would cut a promo stating that Austin Aries has been ducking him since he won the X-Division Championship, even more recently being more worried bout Bully Ray than the toughest threat for Aries championship. Kash challenged Aries to a match for the X-Division Championship at Slammiversary, saying he had until next week to accepted it.
Backstage, Brooke Tessmacher is show venting to Tara and Velvet Sky about Gail Kim cheating at Sacrifice. Madison Rayne interrupts the conversation and says Brooke should be ashamed of herself, accusing such a model champion of cheating! Brooke wasn't in the mood for any of Madison Rayne's attitude and lays a slap on the face of Rayne. Rayne doesn't retaliate - being out numbered - but promises Brooke will regret slapping her.
Commercial Break
We return from commercial break with "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles standing in the ring. Styles cuts a promo regarding the pictures that Kazarian and Daniels showed on last week's episode. He states that he doesn't know how how Kazarian and Daniels created those fake photos, but they had the entire world convinced that Styles was not only sleeping with Dixie Carter, but that he was cheating on his wife. He says neither of those things would EVER happen, but sometime that is going to happen is that at Slammiversary, Styles will have himself a tag team partner to challenge Daniels and Kazarian in a tag team match. Backstage, Jeff Hardy cuts a promo about Sting doing the right thing and allowing him the chance to earn a title shot after the finish at Sacrifice. Rob Van Dam comes into the picture and questions Hardy's motives for wanting a title shot, when the entire world knows that the person who should get the next shot is Rob Van Dam. Hardy says Sting made the call, not him. Van Dam calls Hardy a "political" sell-out before pushing pass Hardy.
Bully Ray defeated Doug Williams : While this match looks one sided, Bully Ray seemed to be off his game following his loss to Austin Aries at Sacrifice. Williams got the best of Ray at various points in the match, but in the end Bully Ray defeated Doug Williams with the "Bully Bomb". Following the match, Bully Ray once again got into the face of Joseph Park who was sitting in the front row. Ray separated the guard rail and drug Park into the ringside area where Bully Ray attacked him, even using a steel chair on the back. Ray screams he was going to end this "one and for all" and drug Park to the top of the ramp and choke slammed him off the ramp to the arena floor below. TNA trainers rushed out to the aid of Park, while Ray went backstage.
Commercial Break
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Samoa Joe and Magnus : The Motor City Machine Guns have been absent for a few weeks, but they returned with a fight on their hands against the angry team of Joe and Magnus. The two teams had a back and fourth before The Motor City Machine Guns would pick up the victory following the Skull and Bones on Magnus. Following the match, the two teams shook hands out of respect.
Backstage, Kazarian and Christopher Daniels react to Styles' comments about the photos being fake. They make a few jokes about how they would never do that and Styles was just trying to save face. Regarding the challenge at Slammiversary, they questioned who would even team up with Styles following the truth coming out about his "relationship" with Dixie Carter.
The cameras turn to another area of backstage where Eric Young is shown wrapping the backstage seat in bubble wrap and yelling out instructions to a few workers wearing "Orlando Moving Company" t-shirts. ODB appears and asks her husband what exactly he was doing, which he explained that he was packing up for move in two weeks to 8PM. She had to explain that they didn't have to move anything, they would just be on air an hour earlier. It seemed to click for Eric Young after that when there is a mumble from one of the boxes, which grows louder as ODB opens the box to reveal that Young has packed Jeremy Borash into a moving box, along with taping his mouth shut. ODB doesn't let Jeremy Borash out and instead, tapes the box shut.
Commercial Break
Devon defeated Zema Ion to retain the TNA World Television Championship : Devon sticks to his word about defending the TNA World Television Championship on a weekly basis, this time defending against Zema Ion. Devon would pick up the victory following the Saving Grace for the pin fall.
We get an on-camera with Mike Tenay and Taz who hype up the big move to 8PM on in two weeks broadcast, with Taz hyping up the "surprise" he has been talking about for a few weeks. He says that he has heard that a new talent will be arriving in the iMPACT Zone in two weeks. They were then joined out of nowhere by Austin Aries, he says that since this is such a packed edition of iMPACT, he had to interrupt them to make an announcement. He announces that he will accept Kid Kash's challenge at Slammiversary and they can make it official next week!
Backstage, Bully Ray is shown walking through the backstage area leaving the iMPACT Zone. He turns a corner to see "The Monster" Abyss standing in the middle of the hallway. Ray freaks out and tosses his suitcase at Abyss before he hightails it out of there, but Abyss doesn't follow.
Commercial Break
Mr. Anderson defeated Jeff Hardy via DQ: In the main event of the evening, Hardy and Anderson looked to walk out with a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at Slammiversary. The two would try to top each other throughout the entire match, but toward the end of the match Anderson seemed to get the advantage. Anderson would connect with the Mic Check and go for the cover, but before the referee got to three, Rob Van Dam had snuck down to the ring and pulled Anderson out of the ring. Van Dam would slam Anderson head first into the ring post causing the DQ. Van Dam would then grab a chair and slide into the ring, where he nailed Hardy multiple times with the chair. The show ends with Van Dam standing over Hardy.

I'm like Dan when it comes to the Verdana font - I hate it, haha. But moving on...
Now I don't watch iMPACT, so bare with me on this. I like Bobby Roode however, he's a great character, and a nice opening promo, claiming he will retire as the World Champion. Mr. Anderson coming out makes sense, but I love the next part. Sting taking over as General Manager is really interesting, I like it. Jeff Hardy versus Mr. Anderson should be a decent Main Event. Rob Van Dam unhappy that he isn't in the Main Event? I see him getting involved somehow. No idea who Anthony Neese is, so glad that Kid Kash was victorious. Kid Kash receiving a push for the X-Division Championship sounds great. Nice promo from AJ Styles, I wonder who he'll have as a tag team partner for Slammiversary. Rob Van Dam getting involved again, butting in on Hardy's interview? I definitely see an interference coming. I really like this Bully Ray character, it actually gives him a character at least. A good win for him over Doug Williams, but don't know who this Joseph Park is. Pleased to see the Motor City Machine Guns on the winning end, although Samoa Joe and Magnus seems like a destructive team to say the least. Haha, interesting segment with Eric Young, ODB and Jeremy Borash. Devon defends the title every week? I like that, and a good victory over this other guy I don't know. Austin Aries accepting Kash's challenge is good, that would be a great match for sure. As expected, Rob Van Dam sticks his nose in the Main Event. A potential Fatal 4-Way for the World Championship at Slammiversary? Overall, a decent show. I'll do my research on iMPACT so I can enjoy this diary more.

Impact: - Sting as GM will be interesting. - I really hope that Kid Kash gets a good push. - The Eric Young segment was hilarious. I laughed out loud. - the AJ Styles angle is going to be interesting. I can see some sort of surprise being brought in to be his tag team partner come Slammiversary. - Devon defending the TV Championship will give it more credibility. - RVD should be in the main event. Not Hardy. - YES RVD INTERFERES! Nice way to end the show off with Van Dam sending a message to Hardy. I loved the first show. Can't wait to see where you continue going with this.

I'll try to start off from the beginning. I think the backstory could have used a little work, TNA's biggest acquisition to date wouldn't be let go so quietly and suddenly i dont believe, but I'm nit picking. I don't see that it's gonna make a huge difference so the backstory doesn't matter too much.
- Setting up for Anderson vs Roode. I like it. - Nice to see Sting and Van Dam. Seems like everyone writes them out at some point or another. - Kash over Neese, I've misse alot of Impact's lately so I havent seen Neese in action, but I do like Kash, so this is good. - Don't care about KO's (Not a jab at you, just sayin) - Bully Ray over Williams. Right on the money. - MCMG over Joe and Magnus, once again, money. - Nice job at creating a unique skit for EY. I don't think I could write for him. - Devon over Ion. I like Devon as a champ so I'm happy with this. - OOOOOHHHH I really like Abyss/Bully angle. Hoping to see the Monster come back. - Anderson (or RVD rather) over Hardy. Nice way of setting this up.
Looks good man. You've definitely got the TNA style down. Consider me a new reader.

TNA iMPACT Wrestling May 24th, 2012 Orlando, Florida
"The Icon" Sting would kick off the show already waiting in the ring with a microphone in-hand. Sting cuts right to the point and calls out Rob Van Dam, due to his interference from last week. This brings out Rob Van Dam who gets a mixed reaction from the iMPACT Zone, who seemingly has no interest in what the general manager has to say. Sting says Van Dam's interference in the main event last week against Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson, did nothing to help his chances of earning a World Title Shot against Bobby Roode, they actually hurt them. Van Dam snatches the microphone out of the general manager hand, professing that he should have been given a rematch over Bobby Roode "cheated".
Sting gets another microphone and says that as much as Sting would love to come out here, proclaim Roode cheated, and back him into a corner.. he can't because Roode was just the better man. Van Dam said he just wanted another chance to earn a title match, which Sting considers for a moment and says that's an idea. He says he's going to book Rob Van Dam vs. a surprise challenger, if Van Dam wins.. he'll be added to the triple threat between Bobby Roode, Jeff Hardy, and Mr. Anderson at Slammiversary.
But, if he loses.. Van Dam will not get a World Heavyweight Championship match as long as Bobby Roode remains champion. Van Dam tries to argue with the stipulation of not getting a title shot until Roode loses the belt, but Sting says that's the deal.. take it or leave it. Van Dam accepts.
Commercial Break
Backstage, the TNA camera crew has caught up with the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Roode. They question him about the match Sting has made for Slammiversary, Roode says that it is typical Sting trying to back him into a corner. Roode says he has passed every test every general manager has thrown at him, this would be no different.
"The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero defeated Devon to win the TNA World Television Championship : D'Angelo Dinero would make his return to iMPACT Wrestling facing off against past foe, Devon. There seems to still be some heat between the two as they had a little trash talking before the bell rung. Dinero would pick up the victory following the D'Angelo Dinero Express for the pin fall. Following the match, Dinero celebrated with fake money with his face on it falls from the rafters. This marks Dinero's first championship in his TNA Wrestling career.
A video package airs of the TNA roster giving some of their favorite moments in TNA History, in honor of the 10 year anniversary. Bobby Roode said his favorite moment was cracking the beer bottle over James Storm head, winning the world championship, and getting rid of that "waste of space" as a partner.
Madison Rayne defeated Brooke Tessmacher : Madison Rayne said that Brooke would regret the slap last week, which she would do in this match. Brooke would seem to have the advantage from the opening bell, trying to win another match with Gail Kim's "Eat Defeat", but Rayne would reverse it. Rayne would pick up the pin fall victory with her feet on the rope, similar to Gail Kim's win over Brooke at Sacrifice.
Commercial Break
Joe and Magnus defeated The Motor City Machine Guns : "The Icon" Sting was so impressed with this match last week, he booked a rematch tonight. The two teams would attempt once again to "one-up" each other which made for a good match. Shelley would almost pick up the win for his team following Sliced Bread, but Samoa Joe broke up the pin on Magnus. Samoa Joe would get the win for his team following the Muscle Buster on Chris Sabin.
Backstage, Mr. Anderson is asked about the World Championship match being made a three-way after last week's interference from Rob Van Dam. Anderson says that while he just wants a World Heavyweight Championship match, he says that he has beaten Jeff Hardy twice now.. and shouldn't have to share the spotlight with him at Slammiversary. Jeff Hardy happened to be walking by Anderson doing his interview and questions his comments, but Anderson doesn't back down and proclaims it doesn't matter how he wins.. it's still a win and that was his second back to back win over Hardy. Jeff says that both wins by Anderson were tainted and Anderson shouldn't look at them as "victories". Anderson responds that Hardy just doesn't get it: He's an asshole! Hardy says he's made that perfectly clear.. he comes up with the idea for them to face off next week on iMPACT to see who really is the best between the two one-on-one. Anderson accepts the challenge.
Doug Williams and Mark Haskins never started: The two stars made their entrance, but then refused to wrestle one another. They both cut a promo about how they refuse to wrestle their fellow Englishmen, because they aren't like the sorry Americans who just beat anyone up. They talk about how they have class, which is why they are forming a tag team to bring class back to the tag team division!
Commercial Break
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles came down to the ring along with a unknown man, who Styles introduced as a college student who was interning with iMPACT Wrestling. Styles said that he (and his partner at Slammiversary) had done some digging to find out who took these supposed photos of Styles with Dixie Carter, which led them to the intern. Styles handed the microphone to the intern, who explained that Daniels and Kazarian learned that he had a photography background, which included knowledge of editing fake photos and making them look real. He admitted to do editing the photo of AJ Styles and Dixie Carter, but had no idea how they would be used against AJ Styles and apologized. Styles took back the microphone and accepted the apology, then turned his attention to Daniels and Kazarian. "You said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and all thousand were wrong. The great thing about me and my partner, there is one thing we both have that you two don't: Integrity."
A video package airs hyping up the move to 8PM next week, teasing shocking revelations and surprises!
Backstage, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian are shown walking down the hallway toward the stage where they run into the intern who just sold them out. He panics and tries to run, but Kazarian quickly grabs him. Daniels and Kazarian threaten to beat him within an inch of his life for selling them out, but say that he screwed himself in the end.. because TNA isn't going to keep some intern around for implying the president of the company was having an affair with a TNA talent. Kazarian releases him and he takes off running.
Commercial Break
The music of the X-Division Champion, Austin Aries plays throughout the iMPACT Zone as the champion comes to the ring. He talks about Kid Kash's challenge last week - which he accepted - but they agreed to make it official tonight, telling Kid Kash to come to the ring. Kash comes to the ring and before they sign the contract that Aries has in his hand, Kash tears down the champion by proclaiming that Aries is one of the guys that have torn apart the X-Division. He says it's never been about the biggest, but Aries takes that to new meanings as the smallest guy in the history of the X-Division. Aries corrects him and names off a few guys that he's bigger than, including Shark Boy adding the fin did make him just a little bit taller. Kash doesn't seem to care for Aries jokes and snatches the contract from his hand, signing it then shoving back at Aries who signs it. Kid Kash turns to leave but then asks why wait until Slammiversary.. when they're both in their ring-gear and could do it right now, but Aries says he has a "prior engagement". Kash attempts a cheap shot on the champion, who ducks it and then gets a forearm in on Kash, knocking him from the ring! Kash shakes it off and backs up the ramp.
Backstage, Bobby Roode enters Sting's office and mocks Sting for thinking that he can book the World Heavyweight Champion into a corner at Slammiversary. Sting says that isn't what he is trying to do at all, he's trying to make it fair for everyone.. including Roode. Roode doesn't agree that a triple threat is fair for the champion, saying Sting's trying to bully him. Sting says if he was trying to bully Bobby Roode, then he wouldn't have booked Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson one-on-one for next week's main event, ten days before the pay-per-view. Roode says that Sting can put a spin on it, but the fact remains that there has been no other champion that has been backed into a corner more times than him... then storms out. Sting smirks and says out loud that maybe he should call an old friend up to talk to Bobby Roode about being backed into a corner next week..
Commercial Break
Rob Van Dam defeated X-Division Champion, Austin Aries [Non-Title] : Austin Aries was the surprise challenger for Rob Van Dam, who seemed to take Aries more serious than one might expect. Van Dam got a big fight from Aries, who saw this as a chance to prove that he could be a top star in the Heavyweight Division. Aries would pull out all the tricks tonight, but the moment that turned the entire match around in Aries' favor was when Van Dam did a slingshot cross body over the top rope, but Aries moved out of the way. This allowed Aries to roll back in the ring and hit his patent suicide dive between the middle and bottom rope. Aries was in control for almost the rest of the match, until Van Dam slipped out of the Brianbuster and kicked Aries square in the skull, rattling the X-Division Champion. This would allow Van Dam to pick up the victory following a Five Star Frog Splash!
Following the match, Van Dam celebrated his victory as the crowd booed.. fully turning on Rob Van Dam now. Bobby Roode was shown backstage destroying the locker room as his triple threat match at Slammiversary.. is now a fatal four way to close the show.

TNA iMPACT Wrestling May 31st, 2012 Orlando, Florida
A video package airs hyping up tonight's move to 8PM, promoting some surprises. The video also included Dixie Carter thanking the fans for their support and says the times are changing within TNA iMPACT Wrestling.
Samoa Joe [w/ Magnus] defeated Alex Shelley [w/ Chris Sabin] : The first 8PM show kicks off with a big match between Shelley and Joe. Joe would work over the shoulder of Shelley for most of the match, trying to take away the ability to hit the Sliced Bread. Shelley kept fighting back time and time again though, getting a few kicks in on the body of Samoa Joe. It wouldn't be good enough as Joe would be able to get the Muscle Buster in for the victory. Following the match, Chris Sabin helped his partner to his feet and Joe walked over, shaking the hand of Alex Shelley. Mike Tenay and Taz talk about the respect of these two teams heading into Slammiversary.
Backstage, Sting is shown talking to someone who is off-camera. Sting says that he knows the mystery person doesn't like him, but the person needs to learn to play ball with management if he wants back into the company. He says he knows that he still feels screwed over by TNA management, but it's time to let it go.
Commercial Break
Brooke Tessmacher defeated Madison Rayne : In a rematch from last week's episode, Brooke Tessmacher looked for some redemption on the Knockout Champion's "BFF". Brooke would get the victory following hitting Eat Defeat, Gail Kim's finishing move! After the match, Brooke celebrated her victory until Gail Kim would attack her from behind leaving her laying on the middle of the ring.
The TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Roode is shown arriving at the iMPACT Zone. He's questioned by the interviewer about who he believes Sting has brought to iMPACT Wrestling tonight. Roode states it doesn't matter what "old fart" friend Sting has brought to the show, all the matters is that Roode is now the longest reigning TNA World Heavyweight Champion in history!
Crimson defeated Shannon Moore : It was an open challenge request by Crimson, which was accepted by Shannon Moore. Moore wouldn't have a fighting chance against the undefeated Crimson, who would pick up the victory following the "Red-Sky".
Backstage, Jeff Hardy is asked for comments on his match with Mr. Anderson - which is tonight's main event. Hardy says that he and Anderson have had some questionable match finishes lately, which he hopes tonight will settle who is better one-on-one. He's asked about if he's worried about getting hurt before "Slammiversary" in a few weeks, to which he says the only person that should be worried.. is Mr. Anderson.
Commercial Break
The music of TNA World Heavyweight Champion - Bobby Roode - plays and he makes his way down toward the ring carrying his championship, along with a bottle of champagne. He gets into the ring and cuts a promo about how despite the amazing effort of TNA management to stack the odds against him since the day he won the championship, he has become the longest reigning TNA World Heavyweight Champion! He runs down the list of names that he has beaten to retain the championship and proclaims himself the greatest World Heavyweight Champion in history! The lights in the iMPACT Zone then dim as many people expect to hear the music of "The Icon" Sting, but instead they hear the music of Jeff Jarrett!
Jeff Jarrett comes down to a very mixed reaction from the iMPACT Zone. Jarrett apologizes to Bobby Roode for interrupting his party, but Sting asked him to attend and talk to Bobby Roode about his experience's as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Jarrett talks about all the things that management - such as Jim Cornette - put him through as champion, including giving the fans their revenge on him by giving them leather straps to attack him with. Jarrett proclaims that Roode hasn't had a fifth of the odds that Jarrett had against him, but he wasn't taking anything away from Bobby Roode. He called Roode one of the greatest World Heavyweight Champions, especially having the second longest reign in TNA history.
Roode snaps back stating that he is the greatest TNA World Heavyweight Champion and also the longest reigning champion, not the second. Jarrett corrects him and reminds the world about Jarrett's infamous 347 day championship run. Roode says that there is a big difference between Bobby Roode's run and Jarrett's, that being that Roode doesn't surround himself with a goon squad to make sure he keeps the championship. Roode says that he has saved Jarrett's ass many times, thus making Jarrett's points irrelevant.
Jarrett says Roode maybe right, but it doesn't change the fact that Roode has a hell of a challenge come "Slammiversary" and instead of throwing a party.. but Roode should be preparing for that match. Jarrett turns to leave and before he is able to get out of the ring, Roode picks up and cracks the champagne bottle over the back of Jarrett's skull. Jarrett hits the mat with a thud, as Roode just casually walks out of the ring.
Commercial Break
A video package airs looking back at the incident between Jarrett and Roode, including clips of Jarrett being helped out of the ring by medical staff. Sting is then show confronting Bobby Roode about attacking Jarrett, but Roode just pushes past him.
"The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero defeated Devon to retain the TNA World Television Championship : Devon would get his rematch, following losing the championship to Dinero last week. Dinero and Devon are no strangers to each other, thus making a very interesting match. In the end, Dinero would pick up the victory following the "D.D.E"!
Backstage, Mr. Anderson is asked for comment about facing Jeff Hardy tonight. He says that it's pretty much a done deal that he'll defeat Jeff Hardy, he already did so at Sacrifice. Anderson states he is more focused on being the one to dethrone Bobby Roode come Slammiversary.
Austin Aries makes his way down to the ring and cuts a promo about how there seems to be confusion amongst the iMPACT Wrestling fans about where his focus his. He says that his focus is 100% on the X-Division Championship, which is why he agreed to face Kid Kash at "Slammiversary". This brings out Kid Kash who does some trash talking on Aries, stating that Aries is the exact problem with the X-Division these days. Kash says back his the days of him running the division, it wasn't about who could do the most flips.. it was about pure wrestling talent. He says Aries is a good flier, but lacks the ability to be a good technical wrestler which is what it will take to beat Kash at "Slammiversary". Aries says that Kash can think whatever he wants about what talent he has or doesn't have, but Aries is the one holding the championship.. not Kash. This would lead to Kash slapping the taste out of Aries both, starting a brawl between the two. TNA agents would hit the ring to break it up.
Commercial Break
AJ Styles defeated Kazarian : While Styles and Kazarian's friendship has fallen to pieces over the past few months, the one that that remains is the talent of the two stars. These two put on a wrestling clinic tonight, but you could still feel the disdain between them as Kazarian used the second rope to attempt to choke the life out of his former friend. Styles would walk away the victor following the pele kick and a Styles Clash. After the match, Daniels would attack Styles from behind with the TNA World Tag Team Championship belt. This would allow Kazarian some time to recover and allow the tag team champions to double team Styles until their beat down would be ruined by Kurt Angle! Kurt Angle would hit the ring and make the tag team champions scurry out of the ring toward higher ground. Angle grabbed a microphone and announced himself as AJ Styles' partner!
A video package aired that was from earlier today in California where a press conference was held. The press conference was lead by the public relations manager of the newest stars to iMPACT Wrestling, John Hennigan and Melina! Melina and John would step in front of the podium, with Melina doing most of the talking. They proclaim that they are the hottest couple in all of pro-wrestling and are here to dominate iMPACT Wrestling, starting with championship gold!
Back inside the iMPACT Zone, Mike Tenay and Taz react to the news that John Hennigan and Melina were joining iMPACT Wrestling. They talk about the impact that they will have on iMPACT Wrestling when they "choose" to show up live on iMPACT.
Commercial Break
Mr. Anderson defeated Jeff Hardy : In the main event of iMPACT Wrestling's 8PM debut.. Mr. Anderson and Jeff Hardy would tear the house down with a back and fourth match, with neither of them wanting to lose. Hardy would almost pick up the victory following the "Twist of Fate", but Anderson got his foot on the bottom rope to break the count. Hardy would get risky later on in the match after suplexing Anderson on the arena floor, as he would climb to the top rope and attempt the Swanton Bomb to Anderson the floor, but Anderson moved causing Hardy to crash down on the concrete floor. This would lead to Anderson taking advantage and picking up the victory following the "Mic Check" to get the pinfall. Anderson celebrated his victory, but it was short lived as Rob Van Dam would attack Anderson! Van Dam would lay out the champion with a nasty kick to the skull. Van Dam would pose after Hardy and Anderson, but Bobby Roode would appear and knock Van Dam out with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Roode stood tall to close the show.

Just want to say, you have a really nice writing style. The format is really good and easy on the eyes and you do really good write ups.
I really like what you're doing. The Slammiversary card is looking extremely strong. The heavyweight championship match should be a really good bout. Hopefully Roode retains. Nice to see Kash back in the company. I'm rooting for the MCMG to win.
Melina and Hennigan? Nice.
I'm really liking what you're doing with this. It's a shame that you aren't getting the replies that you deserve because this is a really solid diary. Keep it up man.

TNA iMPACT Wrestling June 7th, 2012 Orlando, Florida
The music of TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Roode plays to kick off the show, which leads to Roode cutting a promo about the unfair treatment that he has received during his time as the World Heavyweight Champion. He states that iMPACT Wrestling's contract states that they must provide a safe work environment for all their talent, which they have failed to do so. He proclaims that if he is not removed from the main event of Slammiversary, he will seek legal action against iMPACT Wrestling, Dixie Carter, and Sting. This brings out Mr. Anderson who states that he is tired of hearing Bobby Roode whine about unfair treatment. Anderson brings up the fact that for a few months, he was sitting at home twiddling his thumbs because someone kept saying "We don't have a need for you, brotha!", but you don't see him whining about it every week. Anderson says that Roode whines every single week like a little b----, which is ironic.. as Anderson promises to make Roode his b---- at Slammiversary. Roode - obviously angry at Anderson - takes a cheap shot, but Anderson ducks it and lays Roode out with the "Mic Check" instead. Anderson picks up the World Heavyweight Championship and announces that after Slammiversary, the ass holes will unite to celebrate the NEW World Heavyweight Champion.. Mr. Anderson! commercial break Chris Sabin defeated Magnus : In another preview of the tag match at Slammiversary, Chris Sabin took on Magnus. Magnus had the size advantage - much like Samoa Joe last week against Alex Shelley - but Sabin used his speed to take Magnus down to wear him out. Sabin would win following hitting the Cradle Shock for the pin fall. Backstage, Bobby Roode storms into Sting's office and demands action be taken against Mr. Anderson for his attack earlier. Sting says that there is anything he can too, but Roode disagrees. Roode reminds Sting of the comments early about holding TNA responsible for not providing him a safe work environment, saying this wouldn't look good in a court room. Sting gives into Roode's demand and puts Mr. Anderson in the main event against, Crimson. Gail Kim & Kid Kash defeated Brooke Tessmacher & Austin Aries : Austin Aries and Kid Kash would be in the ring for most of the match, as Gail Kim would refuse to get into the ring anytime Brooke tagged in. Aries would almost put Kash away with the brianbuster, but Kash used a few knees to the skull to stop the brianbuster. Gail Kim would finally come into the match after Brooke tagged in again, but it would be short lived.. as Kim quickly rolled Brooke up with a handful of tights for the victory. Kash and Kim celebrated their victory, as Brooke and Aries looked on in disgust at their challengers on Sunday. commercial breakKurt Angle and AJ Styles made their way to the ring, each cutting a promo about this Sunday's match against Kazarian and Christopher Daniels. Kurt Angle explained why he agreed to join up with AJ Styles to face them, stating he and Styles have always had a mutual respect for each other. He says they could be beating the crap out of each other for 365 days, but that respect would still be there. Angle says he was tired of seeing Daniels and Kazarian disrespecting Styles, so he's going to fight side-by-side with AJ. Styles spent his promo time talking about how Daniels and Kazarian tried to ruin his life, not just in the wrestling business but his personal life with those doctored photos of he and Dixie Carter. He promised payback at Slammiversary. A video package airs of John Hennigan and Melina at a party in Hollywood from earlier this week, they're shown hanging out with some big shot celebrities. A couple turns around and bumps into Hennigan and Melina, spilling their fruity Hollywood drinks. The couple? Eric Young and ODB. The "Hollywood Couple" aren't happy with TNA's odd couple spilling their drinks. They demand security escort Young and ODB out, but this isn't allowed.. as Young and ODB are the "VIP Guests", who in return have Melina and Hennigan kicked out. Gunner defeated Eric Young : Normally, Eric Young would get his rear-end handed too him, but a more serious side of Young has appeared.. rarely. Tonight was one of those rare times where Young was on his A-game taking the fight to Gunner, until Melina and John Hennigan came to ringside, pushing and shoving ODB. This distracted Young long enough for Gunner to take control and win with a powerbomb. Following the match, Hennigan attacked Young while Melina used ODB's own Knockout Tag Title belt to knock her out. Hennigan would hit a corkscrew neckbreaker on Young. Backstage, Jeff Jarrett is shown arriving at the iMPACT Zone. He is questioned about his arrival, which he proclaims he has business to discuss with Sting. commercial break Bully Ray defeated Devon : The battle of two former partners is always a fun match to see, especially when Bully Ray is the one getting his rear-end handed to him for most of the contest. Ray would pick up the victory with the Bubba Bomb in the end. Following the match, "The Monster" Abyss appeared behind Bully Ray when he was celebrating on the stage. Ray turned around and got snatched by Abyss for a choke slam, but Ray fought it off and bailed down the ramp, through the crowd to the backstage area. A video package airs announcing that the "Road to Glory Tournament" will debut on next week's iMPACT. Mark Haskins and Douglas Williams defeated Two Local Wrestlers : Williams and Haskins demolished the two local wrestlers, very easily defeating them. Following the match, Haskins and Williams cut a promo about how there was no team in the world that was on the same page as much as they were. They proclaimed that they would be the next TNA World Tag Team Champions. Backstage, Sting and Jeff Jarrett are shown heading toward the ring. Do they have an announcement to make? commercial breakWhen we return from commercial, Sting and Jeff Jarrett are already standing in the ring. Sting says that since Bobby Roode wants to talk about how he is treated unfairly, Sting has decided that there needs to be a special enforcer at Slammiversary to make sure the main event is fair. The fans begin to chant Sting's name, but Sting says he isn't making himself the special enforcer. He says the job would go to someone who knows about bending every rule in the past, but knows that his future in this company has to be a clean record.. Jeff Jarrett! Jarrett took the microphone and said he is looking forward to making his return to pay-per-view with the company he founded, even if he is doing nothing but making sure everything goes smoothly. Of course, this brought Bobby Roode back out and said that Jarrett has a conflict of interest, reminding the world about cracking Jarrett in the head with a bottle. Roode tries to plea his case of why Jarrett shouldn't be the enforcer, but Sting refuses to listen and says that the decision is final.. which pisses Roode off. Roode walks down to the side of the ring - where Jarrett is propped on the ropes facing him - and spits in the face of Jarrett. Roode backtracks up the ramp as Jarrett comes after him, but TNA staff keep Jarrett back. commercial breakA video package airs with "Cowboy" James Storm talks away walking away after Lockdown, but knew that he had to make a decision regarding his future in wrestling. Storm says he has made his decision, but he isn't going to let the know world right now. He was going to be on iMPACT next week and the world would know his decision. Crimson defeated Mr. Anderson : The undefeated Crimson took on Mr. Anderson in the main event, which looked like Crimson's streak would end tonight, but Anderson wouldn't get the job done tonight. The referee would get knocked down when Crimson ducked Anderson's clothesline and he crashed into the official, but Anderson would quickly take back control with a quick "Mic Check". Before the official could recover or another come down, Rob Van Dam hit the ring with a steel chair and attacked Anderson, laying him out with the chair shot to the back of the head. Van Dam placed Crimson on Anderson, which resulted in the official crawling over to count a very sluggish three count, giving Crimson the win. Following the match, Van Dam would attack Anderson trying to get an advantage for Sunday, but Anderson was saved by Jeff Hardy. Hardy would hit the "Twist of Hate" on Van Dam, before helping Mr. Anderson to his foot. Anderson thought it was Hardy who attacked him and laid Hardy out with the Mic Check. Anderson still groggy from the chair shot motioned that the World Championship was his after Sunday.

It's been a long time since I last saw TNA, so I need to get used to this. Roode always seemed to have talent, so good to see he's the champion. Anderson in the main event has never excited me too much, but the fact that this involves RVD too makes it better for me. I didn't really expect Team 3D as singles wrestlers to last this much. Wonder if we'll see another screwy finish with Jarrett. Storm needs to come back and feud with Roode, now that would be awesome.
No Hogan was pretty much what caught my attention.

How can Van Dam be a dominate heel if you won't let him cheat?

How can Van Dam be a dominate heel if you won't let him cheat? Honestly, not sure about TNA, but this is what the WWE lacks: Dominant, less than 300 lbs., heels who don't need to cheat in order to win.

Honestly, not sure about TNA, but this is what the WWE lacks: Dominant, less than 300 lbs., heels who don't need to cheat in order to win. Interesting. Perhaps the straight kicks should be deemed too powerful, or concussion giving in future? Maybe add an extra-deadly-edge to his character?
