Apparently Ric Flair has quit TNA. With Flair appearing at the Hall Of Fame and his friendship with Triple H & Shawn Michaels I'd expect it probably won't be too long before we get a Ric Flair Mattel figure.

I found this amusing today: Spike TV sources also note that there have also been a number of requests from the network end to keep Flair dressed and not have him near nude/in his wrestling gear and bleeding on TV at his age. I think that was from Pwinsider |

No its not gonna happen. The reason TNA is letting him go is cause he is getting outta control wanting to party and drink and run up debts and not pay them off. I dont see WWE allowing him to come over and put them in debt plus WWE really has no use for a guy that old in a business full of young bucks. I dont see WWE signing him any time soon with his condition just to have Flair put t hem in debt and screw them to.

He just needs a Legends deal and the WWE to okay and if they were okay with him coming to the HOF, then I think they wouldn't care about a figure being made. Running up debts and partying? Yeah WWE is planning on giving Flair a Legends deal especially with the WWE Network starting up later this year. Also Flair's bar tabs have been out of control his entire career lol.

Yep, Flair already has a contract with Mattel, however they couldnt release his figure because he showed up in TNA shortly afterward. Ironically, Jakks TNA couldnt release a figure of him either, since he was signed with Mattel.

Give me a Flair flashback and I'll be one happy man.
Now if only we can get Sting to follow in Flair's footsteps, leave TNA, and get a darn WWE Legends deal! If I got a GAB Sting, and a Crow Sting, I'd never need to buy another wrestling figure.
