My dad was a licensed time keeper from 89-96 in NJ/NY from the athletic state commission. He was big into wrestling since he was about 10 which was during the Buddy Rogers, Gorgeous George days. He had all the LJN's, Remco's, Hasbros, Galoobs, WCW LJNs, Mexico LJN styled figures, Japanese plush toys etc. Back then he was like Grim and Kollecting King basically! When I got into wrestling (I'm 20 so this was 15 years ago maybe even earlier) It was during the dawn of the Jakks line and so my dad shared his BCA figures with me as he was already a year into collecting them. He would get me them, then the WCW toybiz, ECW OSFTM, Titantron Live, etc. He was always working and I saw him only at nights and this was during years of family problems as I was becoming a teenager. Now he still claims some of the collection is his because he loves a lot of the mattels, Unmatched furys and the Jakks Classics, UFCs and Rocky Boxing figures. When I have kids of my own I hope they are into wrestling so I can pass the torch

Yeah! I started collecting wrasslers when I was about 7. My brother and I collected until we were about 16-17 years old. Then we grew up and stopped collecting for years... now at 28 years old I have a 1 year old son. He had his first birthday a few days ago, and for it, I decided to start up the collection again! On top of that I still have all my Jakks WWF, WCW, and ECW Figs from back in the day that I've been saving for him too! I'm having such a blast collecting these figures again. So far we have British Bulldog, Brian Pillman, and Jake The Snake Roberts. But I just bought Mr. Perfect, Tatanka, and Roddy Piper. We also have a Battle Pack Legends vs Superstars Macho man vs CM Punk for trade if anybody is interested. nice plug.

That was awesome, man. I hope I have a son one day I can collect with. I'll settle for if he just likes wrestling...lol. Anyway, I didn't hear any mispronunciations. Good for you guys. Hope you find every figure he wants.

How about the other way around? I collect with my dad. Actually I do the collecting. He jsut sits there and tells me to grow up and stop wasting my money on toys. Yeah, tells me to grow up and stop wasting money meanwhile he is usually smoking a cigarette while telling me that. Hey dad, how about you grow up and start doing meth like a real man. No, not a good idea? Gotcha. Instead of spending money on figures maybe you could pay for counselling?

u should show both of your collections. it would be nice to see how he has it set up. He plays with all his figures so we don't have an awesome set up with shelves or anything like that. I would love to have an actual display like many others on here. Anyhow, he has three plastic drawers. One Large one for all the Mattel Figures: Current Guys in the top drawer and Legends on the Bottom. Then he ha s a 3-drawer medium set with TNA Jakks in the top, WWE Jakks in the Middle and the Bottom is for miscellaneous figures like UFC or Lucha Libre dudes. And Then he has a small Drawer set for all his accessories: Cloths on the top, plastic/rubber clothing in the middle and all the smaller accessories on the bottom.
