"the past holds all of the greatest wrestlers of all time, and all of the greatest matches of all time."
While that is your opinion, I have to disagree. You obviously grew up in the old days of the WWF, so you're biased towards that era and that's understandable but to say the only great wrestlers and great matches are from the past, is ludicrous.

That's what I think tbh. That looks like US Championship material if you ask me! I've never hated Neidhart, but he was always my least favorite in the Hart Foundation.

It takes TWO to be a great team. A tag team isn't the greatest (or at least questionably the greatest) team because one member is phenomenal. Bret and Jim played off of each other extremely well. And he is a VERY talented in ring performer. If you're a fan of Bret, and dislike Jim, then you aren't a fan of Bret at all. He had a lot of potential as a big bad heel, he was incredibly strong, and moved around the ring like a man half his size. He may not have achieved his true potential due to politics, drug problems and his concern for money over his spot. But you can't take away the fact that he was incredibly talented. Pound for pound the greatest wrestler who ever lived. Bret or Anvil?

Played his part well as 1/2 of the original Hart Foundation, but once that finished he was done.
By the mid 1990's WWF was using him as Who?, tells you all you need to know, and if it wasn't for the group version of the Hart Foundation in 97, he would never have been used again in the WWF IMO.

I liked Neidhart. Neidhart and Bret complimented each other very well in the Hart Foundation. Both those guys made that team successful, not one more than the other. However, unlike Bret, Neidhart was nothing more than a tag team wrestler. Neidhart simply wasn't a singles star. If you're a fan of Bret, and dislike Jim, then you aren't a fan of Bret at all. ...

Neidhart. He's also unmatched on The Mic. I can't tell if this is just a gimmick or if you're dead serious.

Neidhart. He's also unmatched on The Mic. I can't tell if this is just a gimmick or if you're dead serious. There's more to being a great mic man than making a goat face joke. Neidhart brought an intensity and natural comical element to his promos that very few people have ever done.

Always like Jim when he was with the Hart Foundation, but the taxi cab pants era & wCw run left a lot to be desired.

I put him as "Meh". Neidhart was one half of one of the best/greatest tag teams of all time. If you want to argue that the Hart Foundation WAS the greatest...Ill even let you argue your points because it could be very legit points. I can see a reasoning for it. However, as a singles wrestler, Neidhart in the WWF was a tweener between Mid-Carder and Jobber to the stars. Anyone that things else wise is a fool. He was jobbed out to guys like Ric Flair and Sid Justice in 1992 during his first singles run. Then he got stuck with "The Who" gimmick which obviously flopped big time. Then he became Owen's lackey while Owen feuded with Bret for the World title. Then he disappeared again and went to Indy feds. Then came back again in 97 as part of the Hart Foundation faction and was used so guys like Austin, Michaels and Triple H could beat a member of the Harts without a champions (Bret-World, Owen-IC, Bulldog-European) having to lose a match.
Actually I think Neidhart is the only former 80s Tag Team champion (in the wrestlemania era) to never hold a singles title in WWF or WCW before or after his Tag Team run. Excluding people that had complete gimmick changes like Smash-Repo Man and obviously people that retired.
Strike Force- (Martel won WCW TV, Santana was a previous IC Champion) Demoliton- (Smash (gimmick change) Ax (US Champion)) Rockers- (Jannetty IC champ, Michaels-Everything) Brain Busters- (Arn multiple WCW titles, Tully-multiple NWA/WCW titles) Fab Rougeau Bros- (Jacques-IC, Ray-Retired) Bulldogs- (Davey-European/IC, Dynamite-Retired)
