I'm not going to lie, I'm mainly going to this show for the autograph signing. I have an ROH/NJPW Global Wars '14 program already signed by Shinsuke Nakamura, Kazuchika Okada, Kevin Steen, Jay & Mark Briscoe, Alex Shelley, KUSHIDA, Matt & Nick Jackson, and Watanabe. Adding Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jay Lethal, reDragon, Gedo, and Jushin Thunder Liger would be pretty damn awesome.

Cripes! Apparently it's going to keep him off of the rest of the tour. Shame.

Naito vs O'Reilly was non-title, eh? Edit: Also - I might have to buy this shirt

As for 2009, I didn't like most of it. I loved it from 2005 until 2008. I went to every show in NYC. In 2009, they wasted Nigel's GOAT run with the ROH Title (seriously, only Joe and Bryan even come close) on Jerry Lynn. Then, they should have moved it to Black. They gave it to Aries, who I liked so I wasn't too fussed. I went to Bryan and Nigel's last show, which was mostly disappointing. Then I went to Final Battle 2009 and sat there while they continued to horribly mishandle Black's quest for the belt with a terrible hour draw. I was already losing interest in the product and only saw a few matches from then until 2015. I'm actually with you here to be honest. Black should have gotten the title way sooner than he did but I liked A Double's run so I kind of over looked that as well since they eventually got it right. No argument with Nigel going down to Lynn either actually. You're making good points but so much of that had to do with the changes backstage. It was definitely a changing of the guard between 09-10 with talent in and out. Bryan, Aries, Nigel, Kings of Wrestling, and then Black left for WWE. I largely stopped paying attention to them between losing HDNet and seeing them live WrestleMania 28 weekend, which sucked me right back in.

Adam Page in the Bullet Club? really? this is ridiculous. I'm happy that War Machine lost the Tag Titles and i won't be seeing them when i go to the show tomorrow.

I'm not going to lie, I really LOVE the idea of one group being spread across four brands. Obviously AJ, MG, Balor and Gallows aren't official members but still.....

So War Of The World was awesome last night! i'm not going to post spoilers outside the Best In The World Card since the shows they taped will start to air at the end of the month but i'll post some pics that i took and some thoughts; The New Stage/Carytron that debuted at the beginning of the year looks fantastic in person and makes ROH look even more major league. The autograph line was LONG, people were most interested in meeting The Elite and they were the only people to have a line which lasted into the pre show match, others that people were interested in meeting were Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, Tetsuya Naito,Jushin Liger and Dalton Castle (who was in gimmick and with the boys). The only person i met was Tomohiro Ishii. KUSHIDA was standing on a chair for most of the signing just surveying the arena looking for something interesting. The gimmick table sucked and the prices on everything was jacked up so i didn't buy any merch. Christopher Daniels was at the table pushing his and Kaz's comics that they were selling. The Dark match was Brutal Bob Evans & Tim Hughes beating 2 local guys. The Elite got the biggest pop of the night, BJ Whittmer got the most heat of the night. The MOTN was KUSHIDA vs. Kyle O'Riley, it was shorter then i would like since it was a tv taping but still it was awesome to watch. The Best In The World Card is.... The Main Event Lethal vs. Briscoe II BJ Whitmer vs. Steve Carino in a fight without honor. ACH vs. Silas Young The Addiction vs. The Motor City Machine Guns for the Tag Titles Bobby Fish vs. Dalton Castle for the TV Title

Cedric Alexander is done with ROH and leaving for EVOLVE. He apparently "blew everyone away" at his WWE tryout.
FINALLY. Delirious never seemed to have a clue what to do with him. He seemed to be picking up some steam against Roddy.. then, nothing. He joined Veda and attacked Moose.. then, nothing. He seemed to get pushed behind ACH when he arrived, and then get pushed even further behind when Lio Rush showed up. I'm glad he's getting a chance to shine because he's one of the most underrated dudes on the indies.

Hope he does well.

A little late on this but I went to the War of the Worlds show at Terminal 5 in NYC and had an AMAZING time. The pre-show meet and greet was absolutely epic as I got to meet: Jay Lethal, Tetsuya Naito, reDRagon, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jushin Thunder Liger, Gedo, Tomohiro Ishii, Adam Cole, and the Guerrillas of Destiny.
My ROH/NJPW Global Wars '14 program is now signed by Shinsuke Nakamura, Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jay Lethal, Kevin Steen, Mark Briscoe, Jay Briscoe, Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reily, Jushin Thunder Liger, KUSHIDA, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson, Alex Shelley, Gedo, and Watanabe.

I can't be the only one that finds Matt Taven to be extremely annoying, can I?
