Am I the only one that likes what they are doing with BJ Whitmer?

Man, Super ACH is something else. He really in my opinion is one of the best on there roster and I would not be surprised if he is in WWE soon

Hello All,
Im not very familiar with ROH but last night was Monster Factory (in Paulsboro, NJ) annual Turkey Slam and they had a bunch of ROH guys.. the only real notable ones were Delirious, Cheeseburger, Will Ferrera?, and Rhett something who's name is slipping my mind. It was a GREAT show and really enjoyed it. my question is, is ROH closer to WWE and such or is it more like CZW with the deathmatch extreme stuff. My son really was getting into the guys and he's 8 turning 9 and he's starting to youtube Bullet Club because of Styles, Balor, Gallows & Anderson and I really don't wanna go to a Deathmatch show. I don't mind some weapons and a little blood but if the whole match is just straight bloodbath it docent appeal to me and my wife def isn't going to be on board. thanks for any help guys!

It's kid friendly, unless you're at a PPV. You can expect to see weapons and blood there. There will almost always be cussing, however.

You're thinking of Rhett Titus, and yes, ROH is closer to WWE than it is CZW, especially where weapons and the like are concerned. Insofar as ECW was the unofficial 'breeding ground/developmental' for WWE back in the day I would say ROH would be the natural successor in that respect nowadays...your son has good taste sir. Thats the guy!... Will Ferrara (SP?) was hilarious the entire match.. he was copying Rhetts Head Motion in his entrance and taunts... I just purchased tickets for the Philly show! what are the odds of us being able to meet some of the wrestlers specifically the young bucks who are scheduled to appear. I saw someone mention a Meet and Greet. is that at every show or just select. I have no problem paying a couple bucks for a few autos and some mercy and what not. especially if my son is happy. He does have good taste thats the power of the internet these days though.. I mean years ago without youtube and such how else would you find out about other "indy" guys. No bigs... in this day and age some people are crazy. you don't know who's on the other end of the computer and you for sure don't know their intentions and such. I should have chosen my words my carefully. any who. back to topic. I bought tix to the philly show on 12/04 SUPER EXCITED as Ive only ever been to WWE shows and a local promotion out of the Monster Factory here in NJ.

Ospreay is the new TV champion.
Once again ROH makes themselves look inferior. Don't get me wrong I like the decision but they're constantly making their own guys look like crapto outside names/non-full time guys.

Having watched this week's ROH TV, and every week since the storyline started for that matter.. this Corino/Sullivan/Whitmer crapstill doesn't make sense to me.

SOOOO... I went to my first ROH show man was it awesome!
SPOILERS ahead for people who may want to avoid them.
we arrived at around 4 and got in line.. they opened the doors and as soon as the doors opened I B lined to where they had the wrestlers signing in the main lobby area. Cody Rhodes was the only one at his table and the others were slowly leaking out. We went and met Cody first and I asked where I paid for the auto at. Cody told me ahh well figure that out later come talk. So cody chatted with us for a few moments about random things. My son asked him if he liked being Stardust. Cody smiled and said it was fun for a bit but after awhile he got tired of painting his face and wanted to be himself. I said feel for your brother who's been doing it for 20+ years. He laughed and said he's a pro at it and even did his sometimes. Cody was very cordial and a stand up guy. By that time the rest of the wrestlers were at their tables and the person who collects the money for autos was now at his post. I purchased my tickets and made my way to the slowly growing Young Bucks line. My son was very excited to meet them. On monday using their black friday sale i ordered him the Pink super kick party shirt. when i got the tracking it said it wouldn't be here until monday (12/5), a day too late. THANKFULLY the tracking updated and it was delivered promptly on saturday. So my son walks up to them and they went to give him a fist bump to which my son threw up a Too Sweet and Nick and Matt got wide eyed and went "OH YEAH, THATS IT" My son briefly spoke with them but I was kinda not listening so I don't recall what he asked but they spoke with him for a minute. I then told Matt about the shirt ordering and he said ahh well my wife does the shipping so Ill tell her she's doing good. We took a photo, too sweeted and moved over to adam cole. He was as nice as can be and asked my son if he was excited. he then thanked me a few times for taking him out to the show and thanked us for being here. afterwards we grabbed some food and went on our way to our seats. I had never been to ROH and only knew of Cole, The Bucks and Cody from other things. In retrospect I wish I would have met more of the guys signing such as The Kingdom, Marty Scrull & Will Osprey. oh well maybe next time. I will say the show was great and especially seeing some Monster Factory Alumni with Leo St Giovani & Punishment Martinez. the matches were pretty good and I really enjoyed the show. someone mentioned before that there was going to be cussing. There were a few "Shut the F Up" Chants but the most annoying thing was in the beginning they made their service announcement. stating where the exits were and etc. but then stated that its a family friendly environment and anyone cussing would be tossed. Now I know you can't control a whole crowd and I don't expect that. BUT I had this OLD guy in a wheelchair directly behind my son cussing the ENTIRE SHOW! I mean saying very vulgar things. even after asking him to quit it I got nothing out of him. outside of that I really enjoyed the show and will DEF go to another but will make sure to be aware of my surrounding people.
