I assumed that was going to be one of the main events of Evolved. Me as well. I know Jericho and Naito are facing each other, at least that's what i heard. Its a little annoying that ROH cant get their own thing to sorta sell tickets so they gotta rely on NJPW talent. Heck they're relying on their storylines now to sell shows. If Beer City Bruiser, Will Ferrara, Cheeseburger and Caprice Coleman have to be trotted almost every week, you do not deserve much of an audience. I know there is somewhat of a following for Cheeseburger, but I have no desire to see him compete. It is not reasonable to believe that he could ever win a match unless he was competing against Ferrara.

I'm not surprised that Omega vs. Cody Rhodes is happening during Mania weekend, gotta draw a crowd somehow. I'm surprised New Japan is allowing it to happen was my original point.

Honor Club is a nice idea, but their pricing strategy is going to turn some people away. People currently pay $9.99 a month for WWE Network and it includes all of the Pay-Per-Views. If you want to pay the same thing for ROH (which is reasonable), you don't get the Pay-Per-Views, which I'd argue is the primary reason someone would sign up for the service, considering their weekly TV isn't particularly engaging and it's available via most cable platforms.
At $120 up front, you'll have a lot of people thinking twice (myself included.) If WWE and/or NJPW were doing the same thing and requiring a long term commitment to see the Pay-Per-Views, I'd find it to be less of an issue. ROH being the lone wolf in doing so, and not offering an industry-leading product, makes them feel behind the times, so to speak.

WWE is going to have a lot more subscribers so they can afford a lower price. ROH will get maybe 1/4 of that so they'll need to be a little more expensive or it wouldn't work for them financially.

Yeah, they're in a tough spot. It's sort of a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario. By not offering the Pay-Per-Views at the $9.99/month price point, they're going to alienate some potential subscribers. But, if they were offering the Pay-Per-Views at that level, they may lose some money. I think a healthy compromise would be to offer an "upgraded" monthly subscription that includes the Pay-Per-Views at maybe, $11.99 or $12.99 a month. Hell, maybe even $14.99. That at least gives people the option to pay a little more for access to the events they really care about without the upfront financial burden.

It wasn’t a month by month basis. ROH is 120 upfront for a year, which equals 9.99 per month. So you get all the PPVs for the same price as WWE. Or if you pay the 9.99 per month you get 50% off streaming PPVs. Plus you get merch discounts, ticket presales, etc.

You still paid $9.99 a month, you were just locked in. And it didn't last long, at all.

Tenille is the first ROH signing in years that interests me in the slightest, but their women's division is atrocious.

Kinda surprised to hear Tenille is working dates for ROH, at least their women's division has a talented worker in it.

ROH updated their website. Honor Club sign up is now available. They don’t have an app yet, but it’s coming soon. 1st live event available to stream is March 3.
