Yeah basically agree with what Chris said, although I found Bio Broly to be ok just not up to par with the others.

So what's the general consensus on the Broly movies? Was thinking about watching The Legendary Super Sayain movie tonight. In my opinion, the first movie is the best of the movies (which don't count Bardock & Trunks, which are both vastly superior). The fight is just way too awesome. The other two are some of the biggest piles of crap I've ever had the displeasure of watching. I hated pretty much everything about those two, but Bio-Broly is definitely the worst of the bunch. I can at least think of a positive for the second movie that isn't, "Well, it still looks like Dragon Ball Z and they have the same voice actors". |

I came by and just happen to notice you guys talking about Broly movies and wanted to show this.  My bro and his gf met Vic the voice actor of Broly at Anime Expo. And they hanged out with him all day and got tons of autograph's from him and they manage to get this signed for me. Vic also sang to my bro's gf at his concert. There pretty good friends too, I told them next time they meet him they should get his # or something keep in touch with him. He would of called me by phone as Broly, but unfortunately he was bothered by too many fans, but I'm happy I got the DVD signed.  |

Due to a change of plans, I didn't watch Broly. But I did watch a couple episodes of the Cell saga, which included Vegeta vs Cell. Pretty damn good.

The second Broly movie is worth watching for some cool moments, but that's about it. I really enjoyed the ending, where Goku, Gohan and Goten did a big family Kamahamaha.

I think Vegeta mentioned him several times in the Namek sega as "The legendary super saiyan". But he only appears in the 3 movies, Legendary Super Saiyan, Return of Broly, & Bio-Broly |

Goku is much better than Ash or Yugi/Yami. However, with the worldwide impact, and having grown up with all of them, and seeing their impact on culture...Pokemon far and away had a bigger overall impact than any of them. I was attempting to look at it from an unbiased perspective, thus I was surprised. This. Half because Vegeta's my favourite character and I'm being biased and half because Goku is barely in the show, DBZ feels more like Gohan/Vegeta's shown, theyre the 2 characters that have definitely changed the most in what I've seen, Goku is a special attraction, like The Undertaker only shows up for the big fights, its true, he uses up all his energy and gets  ed up and then doesnt show up until everything gets too much for Gohan/Vegeta/Piccolo etc. |

That was about a saiyan that lived 1000 years prior or something like that. Broly was made afterwards just to be a movie villain. Btw LtD73, you should watch the Cooler movies by now if you haven't already. By the end of the android saga nothing will be spoiled by watching those movies. The other ones should probably wait until after you've seen the Cell games though. |
