"Revenge of Cooler" is great DBZ movie with an amazing soundtrack. (: And for the Saiyan 1000 years ago mention in the show, I think that refers to Bardock when he got sent back in time and killed Frieza's cousin in which he warned everybody about Super Saiyans before Freiza's cousin died. That only got made a few months ago and I'm pretty sure they only got the idea a year ago. I believe it's non-canon. Whoa, wait. What is this? I've not heard these tales about Bardock going back in time and the like. Where's this from? |

It's based before Dragonball Z (even Dragonball) and doesn't mention anything in the tv show. So yea, you can watch it.

Am I allowed to watch that or will it spoil something I haven't seen it yet (and it's the only DBZ animation I have yet to watch as far as I know) and I plan to see it later today but I can still at least say watch Bardock ~ Father Of Goku first, since Episode of Bardock takes place after that. *Edit* Just watched it, definitely watch Father Of Goku first. It's damn near vital to watch this and it's also so much better than this is. |

Well if you need your DBZ fix, you could always watch the hilarious Dragon Ball Z Abridged.
There's 32 episodes overall, and they just started the Android/Trunks/Cell saga (Like you!).

Season 5 next thursday ;D May rewatch the whole android saga between now and then. Hopefully it's next thursday, because my girlfriend told me that she got me s5 for valentines day, and the parcel arrived yesterday, and happened to open by itself, and it looks like the american version of the dvd, UK editions of the dvds are just a double sized case, this was case that folds out and it was in a cardboard slip case too, it said region 1,2,4 at the bottom, so hopefully it works, if so then  waiting lol ill just get the american versions of 6-9 |

I was always a huge Dragon Ball Z fan when it first started getting shown on Toonami on Cartoon Network in the late 90's... then I moved to Canada after the Cell saga aired, and they were way behind on the episodes they were showing in comparison to what I had seen on Cartoon Network, so I pretty much lost interest and stopped watching. Then when they started to release the full seasons on DVD back in, I think 2007, I decided to get back into it and bought each one as they came out. Got to rewatch all the episodes I had already seen quite a few years prior, and eventually build my way up to the portion of the show that I hadn't seen yet, as they continued to release the seasons on DVD. But then for some reason that I can't quite figure out I stopped buying the DVD's after season seven... which is nearly the same spot I left off watching them the last time around.
So anyway, I just decided a couple days ago that I need to finish watching these last two seasons so I can FINALLY see how Dragon Ball Z ends. I was just going to download them, but then I figured I already have the other seven seasons, so I may as well finish the set. And so on payday this week I shall order seasons eight and nine from Amazon.
And thats my own personal Dragon Ball Z saga.... the end.

DBZ chat is back ;D I now have season 5, and a bonus, it is the american version of the dvd which works perfectly fine on the laptop so I may be getting the american versions of S6-9 and maybe DB and GT in the future, who knows
So I only had chance to watch one episode of Season 5 yesterday, definitely loving it already, very interested in the little story with the old worn down Trunks capsule being there before he had even shown up in Season 4, I'm guessing it's going to be Cell as Kame was saying he had felt an evil presence growing for the past 4 years.
DAMN ITS GOOD TO BE BACK lmfao

Caught the last hour of Dragonball Evolution on tv before....wish I hadn't D:E catches some un-needed flack. For all that wasn't great about it, there are some really good elements to it. Certainly doesn't do Goku n Co. justice...but it's not TERRIBLE, IMO. Cell Saga is amazing. Enjoy. |

Just purchased the first two seasons of Dragon Ball on DVD. Haven't watched it in it's entirety yet and am a huge DBZ fan, so I thought I'd take the plunge.
