I don't think that'll be the next live action DBZ movie. They just released a live action one in 2009, and that one bombed. It was awful, and I doubt they'd make a new one just four years after it, especially considering it took so long to get that live action movie off the ground. It's probably just some amateur thing, so no need to worry. Android 18 is ing hot, by the way.

If they ever make a DBZ movie it should be animated.

If they ever make a DBZ movie it should be animated. They have done that. Like 12 times.

Idk for some reason I think nobody will ever be able to nail the likeness of the characters, so whats the point of a half assed movie where the actors dont even look like the character.

Talking about DBZ is giving me huge withdrawal symptoms, I've finished Season 5, Inperfect/Perfect Cell Saga, which movies can I watch now without spoiling future sagas?

Decided to rewatch s5
Imperfect Cell vs KamiPiccolo, Piccolo got his ass beat and lost an arm, but i read a few weeks back, that when he merged with Kami, he became the most powerful fighter in dbz history, so shouldnt he run straight through Cell?

As far as I recall, when they merged -- for those 4 episodes or whatever -- he was the strongest...but up until then, it didn't take Cell into consideration, because he wasn't supposed to exist. It's been a long time, but I think that's right.

Season 6 has been dispatched and Vegeta and Trunks have just came out of the hyperbolic time chamber. Season 2 is still my favourite tbh, Namek saga, action packed, after a great season 1 and when Frieza still kicked ass before Season 3 overkill

Both Season 6 (cell games saga) and Season 7 (great saiyaman/world tournament sagas) have been delivered weren't expecting them until next week. Theres little blue cell guys on the S6 box :S I think S7 is a definite jump in the story, I dont recognise any of the characters there. Really starting to get a sinking feeling now :/ I have 7 seasons of 9 now :/ its nearly over, i dont want it to end

Dragonball Z does start off a bit after where Dragon Ball left off, but there's really no need to watch the original series first. Whilst both are two of the greatest shows ever made, they're actually quite different. I always see Z as the more Sci-fi one, wheras Dragon Ball is a lot more based around fantasy and mythology/ folklore. Honestly, I think I prefer Dragon Ball more, but DBZ is much more iconic and has a bit more depth to it. The first season/ saga is the Sayian Saga, which I feel is the best of the series. That should definitely be enough to sell you on the show. Do be aware though, that it can often drag at time - especially during the Freiza saga. In the end though it's worth it, definitely THE show that made me the anime geek I am now. Didn't they drag out Namek's final five minutes over three or four episodes?

Those were some depressing times.. I feel for you.

My Season 3 dvd has 33 episodes, 19/20 episodes are Goku/Frieza fighting, I loved Frieza in Season 2, Season 3/4 he can go himself, that fight dragged on for too long. I'll be fine King of Pepsi lol, got 4 seasons left, 15 movies, and then ill give GT a go for a few episodes, if I don't like it, I'll go to Dragon Ball
