Not that far into it, ended with Krillin, Gohan and Bolma hiding in a cave because something was coming towards them and Vegeta was trying to find 1 dragonball so Frieza's would be useless

surprise it ends with the earth blowing up and eVERYONE DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just kidding lol'

it does have a good ending. I liked it.

Goku we need you on planet namek! dammit it's gonna take a bunch of episodes,.. like when he was trying to get to the sayians!! lol

Ah this really makes me want to watch this again. I have all the DVDs up to the start of the cell saga I think.

Definately check out Dragonball as its awesome, a bit more character development but I hadnt really properly watched it before a couple of years ago and I honestly ing loved it. Grew up on DBZ and it was one of my favourite show ever but watching Dragonball even as an old teenager was just so addictive and just brilliant.

Seems your getting to the good part of the saga now, shame theres always filler at the stat of the first 2 sagas as its slightly off putting starting to watch them again.

If you have a region free dvd player you can buy them on amazon. Annoyingly the Dragonball DVDs dont work on uk players but the DBZ ones do.

If you're still unsure about the process, try asking the kindly folks on the Techie Stuff board, who are usually more than happy to help.

You should be fine if you're in Liverpool?
The ones they're selling are region 2, so even if you don't have a multi-region dvd player, they should work fine on just any normal DVD player.

Kid Goku is my favourite character of the whole shows, the opposite of Gohan.

Watching ep 1 now of DBZ and Gohan is thoroughly annoying, also not looking forward to the slow build but I always enjoyed snake way and King Kai and the battle is awesome. Will try and get season 5 (Cell games) after I run through them. Looking forward to it as I really dont remember anything from it.

you're views on gohan will change...beleive dat playa. the whole story is to show gohan start as a scared child growing into a competant young man.

but like i said before Frieza is my fave villain. He's justa total badass, cold blooded mofo.

Vegeta face turn wasn't expecting that (haha you know you're obsessed with wrestling when you use wrestling terms in tv shows) and the Ginyu force just showed up. I can not take these guys seriously for 2 reasons. 1. They had the stupidest intro ever and 2. I've seen a botchamania ending where the Spirit Squad intro is dubbed over them.
