The opening was just about the only thing I liked about Kai. Everything else sucked, especially Gohan's voice. Made me want to kill myself, to be honest.

If anyone wants to talk about DBZ spoilers, there is an Anime thread in the comics board. Yeah, I was going to mention. Anyway, I'm not going to be really active during this saga, it's good and all, but I don't have much interest in participating in discussion/debate about it, as I honestly don't feel like there's much to go into. I mean yeah, the fights are awesome but not something that really lends itself to much conversations, not until later anyways, when we can compare it to other fights and decide which is better. I imagine I'll become more activity during the next saga's and once the Android saga's starts, college allowing, you probably won't be able to shut me up. Then my activity will probably dwindle when Buu becomes the main antagonist. |

As far as openings go, nothing beats the original japanese version and let's finish it off with the 2nd japanese opening which i liked alot. SPOILERS to those who are new to DBZ. as this takes place in the tail end of the series. |

Disk 4 down, 28 episodes down
Finally stuff is happening, actually shocked at the amount of deaths theres been in this fight, did not expect Piccolo to go down, was really hoping for Gohan to die instead, can't say im too bothered about the other deaths tbh because I didn't like the characters.
I just know that when Vegeta starts fighting he'll go ape crapcrazy on everyone haha can just tell.
Disk 5 andd 6 tomorrow and then I'm off to buy season 2 tomorrow aswell, not sure what saga that is but Goku is on the dvd cover

Season two is also the Namek saga, which comes before the Ginyu saga. Just wanted to throw it in there. |

Really need to re-watch the Frieza saga since I haven't seen it in years. I don't hate any of the sagas in DBZ, but the Frieza saga, hell, the entire Namek story arc was just too slow for me. It's definitely worth watching, though. Goku turning super saiyan is worth watching alone. My favorite saga has to be the Cell Games. So much emotion. I was on the edge of seat the entire time I watched that. |

My memory is a little hazy though. And I still stand by my previous statement that Gohan will be your favorite character by the time you finish the series. He becomes a huge bad ass. |

Watched Disk 1 and the 1st 5 episodes of S2 Not gonna lie, was abit bored until they reached Namek and now things have got interesting and I'm loving it right now. I love the Vegeta vs Frieza thing that they have at the moment, with Gohan, Krillin and Bolma caught in the middle of it that's pretty cool. I'm liking Frieza so far but they did a horrible job dubbing him, I haven't heard his original voice but he sounds like a girl on this dvd, him and his female number 2 should swap voices imo. I also don't get why Frieza and his group are in Saiyan outfits, I thought there was only 4....well 2 left now. Question about the overall series, does season 9 have a definitive/good ending because if i invest £100's buying these dvd's, 100+ hours watching them and over a year collecting the dvds just for it to have a crapending or for the story to continue on, I WILL FLIP THE OUT. |
