Thought I'd bump this, as I've finally got Season3 on dvd as well as Season 4, so this will be updated alot  not to mention, by the time I finish these dvds, Season 5 will probably be released ;D season 2 ended really well, could not wait to just back into this show  been watching some of the movies in the mean time I can't wait to find out who makes the wish with the Dragon Balls, Vegeta, Frieza or Goku and the gang P.s Vegeta is the  ing man |

Contrary to popular opinion, claiming the apocalypse today was either complete BS or saved by someone like "the Doctor"...pssh...Goku clearly saved the world.
For those of us who rise early for work or whatever reason, we noticed the sun took longer to rise than normal. Instead of being up around 6:30 like normal, it was closer to 7:00 before it began to shine. Of course, it was raining most of the morning, which is what MOST people would think was the reason.
But the sky was dark for a much different reason. After spending the last few months tracking down the Dragon balls, Goku and his team awoke Shenron this morning, which darkened the sky, and wished to save the world.
Thank you, Goku and the Z-Warriors. We owe you our gratitude.

I guess that fight is most of season 3 haha Frieza just ended Krillin  not a fan of the new voice for Frieza when he transformed, I guess it would've looked stupid, huge Frieza with that voice, I guess I was just used to it haha |

I should of started watching Frieza saga, but I chose Android instead. Haven't watched an episode in about a month, but Androids are still awesome. Can't wait until Cell again.

I read that the Android Saga is the start of a new story arc, is that true? I dont want Frieza saga to end and just never be mentioned again  End of S3 Disc 1, Frieza/Piccolo showdown next time |

Frieza comes up several more times, in fact this is when you meet one of the coolest characters (I wont spoil him for you but he wears a Capsule Corp jacket and carries a sword, just so you'll recognize him when you see him) He's bad ass. But yeah, love this show.
They never blow off the past villains completely. Cell Saga is my favorite personally.

The Frieza arc [side note, according to DBZ wikia, the Frieza arc encapsulates the sagas such as Namek, Captain Ginyu, & Frieza Saga] as a whole dragged on too much for me to rank it too highly. Especially the Goku vs. Frieza fight, which laster 19 episodes. I hided the episode amount in-case you don't want to know exactly how long it is since they can remove any tension watching it. But it's too long (though that didn't bother me as a kid). The Cell arc [again, encapsulates the saga's like Andriod, Cell Games, etc.] is definitely the best in my opinion. As a matter of fact, it's one of my favorite Shonen arcs ever. Character development at an all time high, it didn't drag on, most of my favorite fights in the series are in there, and I love all all the villains. And other reasons of course that I can't go into because of spoilers. |

19 episodes for 1 fight? you ing kidding me?  the dvd box said its 33 episodes, over half the season on 1 fight and I don't mind, I'll probably lose count on the amount of episodes. I loved Season 2 because it was such fast paced, so much happened, ages before i started watching DBZ i saw a meme that said Goku's Super Saiyan transformation takes like 5 episodes or something stupid. Next episode for me is "End of Vegeta" If Vegeta dies I will flip my shit, he's my favourite character by a ing mile |

Haven't caught it at all yet, but I may pick it up too if it's THAT much shorter, just so I have a version I can watch without feeling like I'm 'wasting away' so to speak. The Cell arc is just splendid storytelling. It was the only time I was like "HOLY Chocolate Shark!" towards a cartoon. It was really when they hit the stride of "We can't focus solely on Goku, we have 10 characters we have to deal with, this is how we juggle them" And they do it properly. One of the best single episodes is in this arc too if I'm not mistaken, where Goku and Piccolo have to get drivers' licenses. I was TRULY hoping the live action movies took off solely to get to see that arc told in a live action form. Getting a DBZ series off the ground is still one of my main goals as a filmmaker. Could be amazing if done properly... But yeah man, the Frieza/Goku battle is long as hell, but it DOES have a pay of. It's not like you watch all these episodes for some boring ass ending. No, you get a kiss good night and a handy jay before she goes to bed...it's worth it. Buu with my problem is 'fat buu' is just so damn annoying. Overall that was my only gripe with that arc. That and Dabura is HORRIBLY under-utilized. He was an awesome villain. And to the OP don't worry, none of this is spoilers to anything. Hopefully just helps ya look forward to stuff more. |

Is Dragon Ball GT as good as Z because I may possibly watch that after I finish Z, the characters look really weird though, especially Goku....at least I think it's Goku
