The worst are the guys that as soon as you get done playing the mission with them and you all spawn, they try to kill you. I had one guy try that, but I was in passive mode. So, I got my car and ran him down and then kept backing over him until he died. Nice!

I whole heartedly agree. If you don't like being gunned down, stay out of multiplayer. There's a difference in "being gunned down" as you worded it, and then being spawn killed 6 times in a row as I was tonight. Luckily when I played last before tonight, I banked all my money so no one was able to rob me, but still. There's playing the game, and then there's purposely going out of your way to ruin someone else's experience because you wanna be a dick. Thank you, you see my point. I know there are options for more peaceful ways to play the game in the way you want, but as I said I wanted to have a 'full' experience when it came to other players and was merely exasperated with the singular mentality that is 'Kill Everyone You See And If They're Stupid Enough To Be In Your Vicinity It's Their Own Fault'. Thankfully my brother has returned from his travels interstate so we can now back each other up so to speak.

Thankfully my brother has returned from his travels interstate so we can now back each other up so to speak. Sadly with most of the "gamers" of today, the mentality is basically if it moves, kill it. That is what happens when the market is flooded with shooters that revolve around killing the other player. I have rarely seen players that even go for the crates or cars. They would rather drive around trying to kill the other players.

really weird to hear all this. I find the map is so big, that with only 16 people max in a session you have very little chance of interacting with them unless there's a bounty on either of your heads.
sure, I've been randomly shot a FEW times and it's a bit annoying but it's happened maybe a handful of times and i'm like level 30 or so, so it's not like i haven't played enough.
i will say though that oi totally get people not having fun without other friends playing. at the moment i usually play whilst having a group conversation on skype and it pretty much makes this game.

Well, after 4 weeks of playing since release, I've finally finished the game. I've got a friend who finished the game after only a week. Well I've been taking my time, and I've had a hell of a lot of fun playing through it. But now that the main game is over and done with, to online I go!

Quick pre-Raw online session. Already had 2 Oracle sedans in the garage ($8,000 each when sold), and managed to get 6 of the Baller SUVs ($9,000) to store, while selling 2 others, robbing 4 stores, and getting killed for a $1,000 bounty. Also sniped a fellow getting too close to an upcoming crate drop, and bought a crap load of ammo for my SMG. Probably will sell a few more vehicles during Raw and another in the morning before heading to work.

Anyone else having trouble with Online not saving your deposits? Just had to send this off to Rockstar:
Not sure why my deposits aren't saving, but my garage still holds the cars I stocked in there earlier this evening.

These little bitches . . . After chasing a bounty for a while, someone beat me to it right before I could cash in. Vehicle was destroyed in the process, so as I'm trying to leave the area on foot till I can find a new one. The three guys in the area attack me repeatedly, killing me several times. While fighting back and trying to find cover, I see a message on the screen saying that the other players in the session are thinking about voting me off for bad behavior. WTF? This is a couple of nights after getting booted for, apparently, not joining everyone's mayhem and doing my own thing.

Holy crap, this happened to me the other night and my friend thinks I'm delusional.

Is there a trick or requirement to buy the Sonar Collections Dock? I have been trying to purchase it but there is no realty sign or anything.

You've got to be playing as Michael too. Speaking of the Sonar Dock, its one of the easiest ways to get money on there. You get $184,000 a week plus $23,000 per nuclear waste you pick up.

I think I'm done with the online, forcing the money and ranking up crapon everyone is annoying, I'm not a high enough level to be able to buy any good weapons or get good spawns as in the attack chopper and such. But me and my friends just want to be able to go around in private matches and screw around and do our thing, but we can't get good weapons and choppers and stuff spawned in, and we really don't wanna grind away at missions and shit. We like ot just hop on for an hour or so, screw around and go onto a different game.
I really don't see why the good weapons and spawns can't be opened in a private match, it's rockstar shoving the crapdown our throats. I just feel like they're going to be trying to push the microtransactions a little too hard too. Honestly, me and my friends have way more fun in online on GTA IV, just being away from this leveling up/forced mmo atmosphere type bullshit. Probably trading this in towards my Arkham Origins purchase, and just sticking with GTA IV if i want to mess around online

Not gonna lie, I'm at like 50% in the story, single player, I'm a huge GTA fan, played them all and loved them all. I just don't like this game. I tried Online and got bored after 3 hours. It's just not doing it for me. Which sucks.

I looked up videos on Youtube (which I have watched the dock be purchased by Michael and Frank), and every time I go to the spot where the realty sign is supposed to be, nothing is there. I just started the process of doing the Merryweather Heist, hopefully that will help.

I haven't played for a week. Did we get given our cash money yet? They are delaying the cash payout until they fix all of the bugs.

My friends and I just want to play for a few hours a week and have fun. We can't dedicate hours a day to level up to get good stuff to have fun with. Grinding takes forever too. I agree that online with IV was better, and they have really dropped the ball with this. By the time they "fix" it, if they ever do, I don't think anyone will be around to care.

So I was in a private room with a buddy last night and armored trucks were spawning one after another. He and I each cleared over $200,000 in under an hour. Gotta love the random glitches that work in your favor.
