What is up with Ringside pushing back orders everyday? I understand Hurricane Sandy hit, but it seems everyone I know in the NYC area has electric back on, the transportation is running and most the mess is cleaned up. I was supposed to receive an order late Oct and Sandy hit (which sucked) so I was patient with them waiting until their 11/6 date they originally had posted to promise orders be shipped out at. Well when it hit 11/5, 11/6 turned to 11/7 then (which I was still fine with considering tomorrow is 11/7), but now I check there site again it's pushed back until 11/8? Just wondering will we ever see a real date anytime soon for our orders to ship out or anything? Can't they just give a date and stick with it instead of leaving us loyal customers up in the dark about it? Sorry for the rant, I'm just getting a bit annoyed with them coming back on there word 3 times now on when they were going to ship out orders is all. Is anyone else getting antsy or annoyed by the situation a little?

Quit being so insensitive and selfish. There was a lethal hurricane that hit their part of the country causing delays.
They're action figures, count your blessings and deal with it bro.

Well... I am kind of annoyed by that as well since I've never waited soo long for any orders ever. However the dates are just an estimate so when they first gave us that date 11/6 they were probably not even in the warehouse and didn't know what kind of a mess they got. Keep in mind that they are trying very hard to get RSC get back to normal.

Guys just hang tight.....you realize that this storm was absolutely devastating to our area and over 100 people got killed and thousands of people had their houses and all their belongings destroyed. Other people will be without power for weeks and are freezing to death because they have nowhere to go. And btw, we have another storm heading our way tomorrow which is guaranteed to add insult to injury.
I know this is a toy forum, but you gotta keep everything in perspective. Instead of complaining that your toys might be a few days late, why not be thankful you and your family didn't suffer a death or massive property damage/loss.

Its very hard in New York right now. We still have areas that are without power, traffic lights are screwed up, garbage from flooded houses all over the place, people lost their lives. Thats in my area and we were hit very hard. I think Ringsides area had to be hit very hard. Companies are working around the clock to get everything back on track.

Their area got hit hardest, along with New Jersey. A lot of places are actually still without power, but I'd imagine they have their's back...however transportation is horrible and perhaps the people who work there, live in that area....maybe they're dealing with crapat home...who knows...give 'em time. Lives are more important than you're figures.

How much money did you donate to everyone who was affected by the hurricane? You don't have to be such an ass hole because I asked a question dude. I already said I know Sandy affected a lot of the east coast. I'm from Jersey and we were affected the worse of it all. All I said was how come Ringside keeps coming back on there word and changing the date farther and farther away? You think you would know if you were not going to be in until next week, just say a day next week. Don't get everyone's hopes up and keep pushing it back. I'm not being insensitive or selfish. I'm wondering a question on why these dates keep going farther and farther away and when they think they would be sending them is all. Also I did hear about that other storm coming. It won't be as bad thank god, but we are all still supposed to get high winds and hit with one hell of a snow storm. Hope it don't knock the power out again. We will all freeze now.

Wow this thread angers me severely. As someone who lives in NYC.
A. Ringside is in Long Island which is not part of NYC, you do know that right? Long Island is part of NY State, not the NYC portion of NY State.
Secondly huge parts of LI, NYC, & NJ are absolutely destroyed, and I'd imagine if Ringside is having to push their dates back its for very good reasons. Not because they just don't feel like shipping your crap. Relax yourself, let them do what they've got to do to get back up and running and you'll get your stuff.
Also the Gas shortages here are unbelievable. The lines for Gas in most places are 6 hour waits easy and although there are Buses and trains, it's not exactly an easy walk around Long Island without a Car.
Chill the F out.

Well, it comes off that way. Sorry that you got hit too, being in Jersey and all but I'm just saying its a business and I'm sure they will send them when they're able to. To answer your question, I donated $50 to American Red Cross at work and paid for 3 nights hotel for my friend, his wife and newborn in Jersey as he was recently laid off. Just relax and they'll be there soon.

Do you really think RSC is pushing the date out on purpose? It's only been a couple of days, give them time to sort stuff out.

We all want our action figures. I've been waiting for BP19 for a while now! However, you should be thankful that the building didn't get completely destroyed and orders suspended indefinitely or something. They'll come in eventually.

We are getting hit with another storm tomorrow so that's probably why the date got pushed back. Also we don't know what kind of mess they had to clean up so to speculate is wrong considering how hard Jersey & New York got hit. Just be patient. I had a package expected to arrive today that I ordered from TRU on October 26th and it didn't come today. Even though things are up and running the transportation is still showing the effects of Sandy.

I'm just as antsy about my figures as everyone else, but I also realize what these people could be going through, I have two kids and I couldn't imagine them going through these terrible conditions. We all are gonna get our stuff or a refund, but at the end of the day human life is more important than material things.

OP should contact LIPA (Long Island Power Auth) who I suspect supplies RSC with power and tell them to turn on RSC's lights. If RSC is a LIPA customer and they are without power, RSC is probably getting those start up dates from LIPA.

I think these threads about ringside changing their shipping dates need to end. I have an order myself and yes I really cant wait to recieve it but like others have said the storm was devestating, people's homes were destroyed, roads flooded, loss of heat/power(and its cold up there) and dont forget the shortage on gas which has had people waiting in line for hours to get and the only thing I worry about is my family who still live on Long Island. so like others have said, we can all wait until ringside is back up and running. I'm sure they feel bad for their customers and all but I'm sure they have more important things to worry about my friends.

IVE BEEN THRU SEVERAL MAJOR HURRICANES DOWN HERE IN FLORIDA AND RECOVERY IS JUST NOT A 1 WEEK THING. IT CAN TAKE MONTHS TO GET BACK ON TRACK. YOU GUYS ACT LIKE FREAKIN FIGURE JUNKIES Yeah your from down south so you know what hits down there is way worse than what hit up here. When Sandy hit land it was only a tropical storm with high winds, but below 80mph. Maybe you can't read too well so i'll write it again. I'm from NJ where we got hit the worse of it all. Everyone here is fine now besides down by the board walk. Electric is up and running in most parts, businesses resumed during the week, and most everyone is fine who stayed inside and did what they were supposed to do. I read your ignorant comment in the other thread to about this matter and no one is forcing you to read these and no one is certainly demanding to hear your 2 cents if your going to act like an ass hole and say something non helpful or ignorant. I was not demanding to have my toys now. I was asking what was up with Ringside switching the date everyday at the last second to the next day, when they could easily put a date down next week if that is what they know they are not going to ship until? I had to return to work 2 days after the hurricane and believe me when I say it, we got hit the worse of it all. So instead of calling people junkies and sounding like an idiot writing responses not even related to the topic, either read the whole thing then respond, or don't write at all. Go ahead and smite me because I know that is what people do best around here.

WOW...I mean WOW. I'm sorry, but some of the people I have read on theses forums make me embarrassed to say I'm a collector. There was a deadly hurricane & all some people are worried about is their toys. WOW. Seriously foks, if that's not all your worried about then you need to stop posting about it, because that's what it sounds like. tampatoys813 has a point. You sound like junkies.
