I have always been looking for elite scale rings but never ever found one. I do not wanna pay $500 for one. Do you think mattel will make a new elite scale ring? YOur thoughts.

"No chance in hell!!!" But I wish the Mattel team would share some proto pics of the canceled Legends ring

THEY SHOULD!! When they put it out the first time Mattel was new and not many people collected them...I EVEN PASSED ON IT because I wasn't sure about the line yet!! NOW I LOVE MATTEL and would buy it in a second for my collection! Instead I have to rely on my old jakks rsr

Nope. Retailers don't want to stock it because of the high price point...so their sales projections weren't met. And because retailers weren't warm to it Mattel scrapped it.

As someone posted, it got released at a bad time, when Mattel was fairly new. It appears expensive items such as the entrance stage and the cell have been selling ok.

Doubtful. Retail stores don't want rings because they barely sell...hence why Jakks hasn't made an Impact Wrestling ring for the figures because if the stores don't want WWE ones, they're for sure not going to want Impact Wrestling ones.

Always check eBay, I got one used previously for display purposes only for 150 shipped. Came perfect condition, every thing was there (other than instructions)

Is it really going for that much these days? I remember buying them for like $15-$20 at Big Lots a year or two ago.

Most companys look at after market demand and value. Mattel would be making a smart decision to either re-release the Raw ESR or a Smackdown version. Why? The evil scalpers. This would be a one time, rare case, where scalpers would gelp us. They are in demand, and we all want a Smackdown version. Scalpers know that they can go for high value, so they would sell fairly quickly now. Mattel, look at the secondary market. A ESR will sell. Please, give us a Smackdown version!

Thats how I feel... if something is selling for $400 clearly there is a demand for it. Would a limited pressing of it be feasible? Sell it online only maybe?

I very much doubt it would even sell online.
Look at the Legends line. $20 for a figure and still they sold so poorly they literally weren't allowed to continue doing it.
How could they persuade whoever is in charge to let them list something for twice that price?
That being said, if the ring sold as poorly as Mattel claims, surely they have a few already made and boxed just sitting in a big old warehouse somewhere?

I hope they do another one but this time a little smaller, the esr and rsr seem too big to me but the basic rings are tiny.

It sold poorly so were unlikely to see another sadly. I love almost everything about Mattel but I think the lack of a larger n more detailed ring is one of the few big things were missing. Even a ring that's maybe 18x18 would be nice w interchangeable ring skirts
