Logano took Hamlin out of the win, just like Hamlin did the week before to him. Nascar and not putting up safer barrier walls all the way around the track, took Hamlin out of the race for 6 weeks. Not having them on every wall is inexcusable. Its not the first time a car has hit the wall in a place like that on the track. Blame Nascar for the injury, not Logano. Logano out of the win? That's so laughable, there was no way Logano was winning that race regardless. That's an asinine statement. Im glad you could predict the future Nostradamus. Logano had a fast car and a good car and after being wrecked, still finished in the top 20. He showed after the wreck by coming through the field that he had a good car. Saying "There's no way he was winning the race" is just a flat out ignorant statement.

"Logano took Hamlin out of the win, just like Hamlin did the week before to him"
1.) Bristol and Auto Club Speedway are two different things. Don't act like bumping someone at Bristol = rightful to wreck them at 200mph.
2.) Joey and Denny weren't winning the race the moment they lost focus on everyone behind them. Kyle was going to pass them before they got to the SF line regardless of what happened with contact and I'm sure Junior would have too. So, how are you racing hard for the win.. when you weren't going to win? Kyle had a big enough run that he cleared them before they wrecked. Junior sqeaked under Hamlin while he was sliding down, so obviously they weren't focused on winning because they would've calmed down and raced differently instead of having tunnell vison on one another.
EDIT: Regardless if it's on purpose or not.. Sunday proved further why drivers should be allowed a "cool down" period before having to talk to the media

Looking like Elliott Sadler will be driving the 11 while Denny is recovering. All that is left is to work some details out with FedEx about it. Whatever those may be. Elliott was already slated to run a 4th JGR car in a few Sprint Cup races, so that decision must not have been a hard one.

Martin would give him a MUCH better chance at competing. Sadler is turrible. Mark will at least keep them in a decent position for owners points.
Also, I wonder why they dont get Hamlin to start every race, come in after 1 lap, take him out of the car and put someone else in? That way Hamlin gets the points. Even if you got lap(s) down, you're still gaining points that might not kill him in the standings when he returns. I remember back in 1990 I believe Darrell Waltrip had a broke leg, started the race, ran a few laps and then came in and swapped with Greg Sakks I believe it was.

HOW DARE YOU MAKE SUCH A COMMENT! The doctors probably won't let him.

Can't wait for the bashing to start I think people are getting the "He deserved it" comment confused. Logano said after the wreck, not knowing that Hamlin was injured, that "he deserved it". Once he found out that Hamlin was hurt he retracted his statement saying he wish he could have said things differently.

Yep it's Mark Martin who will be in the 11 for the races Denny is out. Because of the off week for Easter, Denny will only miss 5 races. Brian Vickers gets the seat time in the 55 for the races that Mark drives the 11.

Brian Vickers will be in the #55 for all races besides Talladega Michael Waltrip will drive the #55 at Talladega like planned Brian Vickers will be in the #11 for Talladega. *head explodes*

LOL!
Now, Mark Martin will be in the #11 at Martinsville only. Then Brian Vickers will take over the ride for the rest of the races. Mark will return to the #55.
Sometime around Monday, I think Ill be driving the #11 car next week

Wow...........make up your minds JGR Has nothing to do with Gibbs not making up their minds. They thought everything was worked out, made the announcement, and Aarons blocked it because they want Mark in the car instead of Vickers [they don't sponsor Brian's races]

Vickers getting 5 races in a row? Can't be mad about that. But still... Logano.

Pretty good race today. Wanted to see Vickers go after Harvick a bit more after the race.
