It's amazing how it keeps going back to "25 years ago that woulda been nothing but what he had coming back to him" when that relates to another 100 incidents that have happened int he past few years and guys almost got freaking hanged over it.

Of course not. I guess it's a "Have at 'em, boys" deal. First real scuffle like that of this season IIRC. If this is a continuing occurrence, I'm sure there will start to be penalties. |

It doesnt surprise me there's not penalties. When asked why they simply said it was because nothing that happened was a serious threat (Talking about Stewart vs Logano and Stewarts tirade)...and rightfully so honestly. Its not like he pushed a parked unmanned car into a pit wall where innocent Nascar officials and employees were standing.

Yup which sucks because it'll be the first time that he'll miss it. As long as Joey got even! All he's gotta do is win two or three races and he's in. He's also gotta get to 19th in points for the Wild Card spot. Not gonna be easy when he'll almost assuredly be dead last or very close to it by the time he gets back in the car. He won't get a single point for the races he misses because he has to start the race in the car. He likely won't be doing that. |

Logano took Hamlin out of the win, just like Hamlin did the week before to him. Nascar and not putting up safer barrier walls all the way around the track, took Hamlin out of the race for 6 weeks. Not having them on every wall is inexcusable. Its not the first time a car has hit the wall in a place like that on the track. Blame Nascar for the injury, not Logano. |
