Eh, let me throw some wants in for the new game. Match Types: Triple Threat Tag Team Match Eight Man Tag (If on new systems) Match Type Improvements: Added Steel Sound Effect to the Elimination Chamber Ability to escape Hell In A Cell through the door Weapon Wheel added to Hell In A Cell (If its not added already, can't remember) Ability to throw certain weapons on top of the Cell OMG! Moments added to the Elimination Chamber I don't see anything I disagree with. Also more catching finishers. At the very least I'd like to see catching versions of: The Rock Bottom Baldo Bomb Sharpshooter F5 Spear Brogue Kick Walls of Jericho And don't forget a Catching Very European Uppercut! I'd mark everytime for that.

Hopefully Tensai has his delightful new singlet at least as an alternate attire in WWE 14.

Given the timetable for release, I would guess that if we get a PS4/next gen X-Box release for WWE '14, it's just going to be a straight port with little or no additional capabilities.

I was thinking that with the possibility of The Shield being in WWE 2K14, if Yukes could implement the triple team powerbomb as a move in the game. If not, I could see it done as a part of a cutscene for Story Designer.

I also miss the finishers for the steel chairs that were here comes the pain. also the capability of grabbing an opponent that is on the turnbuckle who is in mid move on somebody else on there(superplex/german suplex) with the possibility of them to reverse.

Yeah... but not all moves can be done off a ladder or in a catch. Some would look really off. Hopefully we get a new decent bunch of moves though. I also miss the finishers for the steel chairs that were here comes the pain. I was hoping they would re-animate the weapon strikes and introduce new grapples by now. I thought the chairs in WWE All-Stars were great for striking. Goes for other weapons too, the Trash-can is probably one of the worst. also the capability of grabbing an opponent that is on the turnbuckle who is in mid move on somebody else on there(superplex/german suplex) with the possibility of them to reverse. Triple moves of doom ftw.

Maybe they could implement it as a corner triple team grapple in 6-man tag matches, like how they used to have that double suplex with the crossbody in older games.

I totally forgot about being able to do that move in the older games. I'm very excited with what 2K Sport, Visual Concepts, and Yukes are going to do with the WWE Games, but we probably won't see any drastic changes until 2K15.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how they handle The Shield. A triple powerbomb would be interesting, but probably something we'll only see in a cutscene.
I would imagine they're pretty much shoe-ins for the game, though. They've been a pretty crucial part of television since their debut, and they'll have been around just shy of a year by the time the game comes out. I can't imagine them not being a priority this year.

If The Shield doesn't make it in 2K14, that will be a major injustice and everyone that made the game had better watch out.

I wonder if they would include Wrestling Attires as Alts? I doubt it if they don't wear them on RAW/SD/PPV, but they won't be 'The Shield' forever.

I get what you're saying, but it's not their job to try and predict the future. If they're the Shield during the time the game is based around, then that's what we'll get.

Me and my friend came up with this long drawn out sort of MySuperstar mode. If you've played MyPlayer or MyCareer in NBA 2k you know what I'm talking about.
You start as an indy wrestler, on some half-empty small arena wrestling randomly generated CAW's and you have to "get over." If you have a great match, you'll be approached by a legend, determined by your performance. They can create fake/somewhat real wrestling organizations which you go to from there. Jerry Lawler, Booker T, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin would be the legends more than likely. You wrestle in their wrestling programs until you have a good enough match where they say they'll recommend you to WWE. You speak with Johnny Ace or Jim Ross or whoever they chose, and go to NXT. There you have matches with NXT stars and some WWE superstars until you're noticed by the big time. You could go months without getting noticed, winning titles in NXT or even the legends schools. After you're picked up they offer you a contract and you can either invade the main brands or come in as a rookie looking to make a name, the choices are endless. You progress through your entire career, winning championships, hitting accolades, etc. There would be a checklist for what requirements are needed to become a Hall of Famer, and you can retire at any time. Injuries would be a factor just like in NBA 2k, if you tear your quad you're out for a year. Numerous storylines could occur, depending on what type of superstar you are. Interviews would take place like in 2k, and you can answer arrogantly, calmly, friendly, or broodishly. You can choose to attack people on the cards, setting up a story. Maybe even challenge a legend at Wrestlemania!
I think it'd be amazing.

While the start from nothing and work your way to WrestleMania idea has been done a few times before, it's definitely not a bad idea. Personally, though, I've always hated the mandatory CAW thing. That had to be one of my biggest complaints about the DOR Series--which the first one's story mode is a lot like what you described. If they had a mode like this in addition to a main one featuring the in-game roster, then I'd totally be on board.

NBA 2k also has Creating a Legend mode, which is basically MyPlayer as a current player. So in that sense, they could do the same mode as anyone on the roster. However, I think it'd be even more awesome if you could also choose legends and have a comeback stint. All of this though, means NO VOICEOVERS. I really don't want voiceovers, they're so limiting. Only commentary should have VO.

imo with the mycareer u should be able 2 choose if u want to be a gm or wrestler Well if they did do a MyCareer/MySuperstar they could just add another aspect from 2K, Association mode, and call it like MyUniverse just like it currently is...however I think they should make it more of a storyline GM...

I would love if we could have a Here Comes the Pain type season mode, no V.O means that they could do far more with it. of course it would be a step back, but if we got countless creative story-lines good script and be able to use whole roster it would be great.
