I would love if we could have a Here Comes the Pain type season mode, no V.O means that they could do far more with it. of course it would be a step back, but if we got countless creative story-lines good script and be able to use whole roster it would be great. If anything, the carreer mode should be like Shut Your Mouth's season mode. It gave the player much more choices with the storylines whereas in HCTP, storylines were only accessible if you were in Title Contention or a World Champion. |

While the start from nothing and work your way to WrestleMania idea has been done a few times before, it's definitely not a bad idea. Personally, though, I've always hated the mandatory CAW thing. That had to be one of my biggest complaints about the DOR Series--which the first one's story mode is a lot like what you described. If they had a mode like this in addition to a main one featuring the in-game roster, then I'd totally be on board. Well that's another part of it they could certainly do. NBA 2k also has Creating a Legend mode, which is basically MyPlayer as a current player. So in that sense, they could do the same mode as anyone on the roster. However, I think it'd be even more awesome if you could also choose legends and have a comeback stint. All of this though, means NO VOICEOVERS. I really don't want voiceovers, they're so limiting. Only commentary should have VO. i agree, voice overs are limiting. i loved how in sym you just walked up to whoever and beat the shid out of them. |

As long as they still have full entrances, I'm fine. It's going to be quite the adjustment though, but I'm excited!
Now that I think about it... how can we be sure that anything THQ did will also appear in 2K's version? I mean what if they don't have as many moves, or don't pay as much attention to detail as THQ did? What if we don't get mini-trons, an extensive create-a-wrestler, paint tool or anything like THQ?
I feel like a lot of the little things I love about THQ's development of WWE games (Now having mini-trons, so many moves, customization, quick matches, Universe mode etc.) will be lost in translation. And I'm someone who plays Universe mode ONLY. I love it to death.
Are they building a new game from the ground up? What if they only include like 30 wrestlers?! What if it's about as extensive and detailed as the TNA iMPACT game?!

The first game is being developed by Yuke's. It'll have the same detail and accuracy as their games.
If you read the thread, you'd know that.

I'm content with wwe '13 but i hope we get some info soon. I loved wwe'13 and the attitude era... it just makes me wonder how they plan on topping it... that has my interest peeked.. I hope we get some info soon.

I've posted in this in another thread a few months ago, but I feel the need to post it again. It's my list most wanted legends/alternates. And I know they won't all be in. Hell, half of them won't be in. I'm just throwing out some ideas.
1. Razor Ramon - Dieing to see that entrance in a game.
2. Ultimate Warrior - He was in All-Stars and LOWM. Whats the hold out on bringing him to the main series?
3. Goldberg - Hes getting a dvd so why not?
4. Diesel - 90's of course.
5. Macho Man - Trunks with Stars please.
6. HBK - WM 12 or 14 would be cool. WM 25 or 26 would be fine too
7. Mr Perfect - Hasn't been in the SVR/WWE series since 2007.
8. Yokozuna - Hes only been in LOWM.
10.Ric Flair - Old School
11.Andre The Giant - Hasn't been in since SvR 2006 I believe.
12.Sycho Sid - Hasn't ever been a legend in a game.
13.Rowdy Roddy Piper - Hasn't been in since SvR 2008.
14.Rick Rude - Same as Piper.
15.Steiner Brothers - We always need a good Legendary Tag Team.
16.Jerry Lawler - Old School attire.
17.Edge - 2006 or 2007.
18.Bruno Sammartino - Why not?.
19.Diamond Dallas Page - Long Hair WCW look
20. Pac, Dogg, & Gunn - Just give Billy his Lips Attire and prepare a team entrance and a NAO entrance.
And then some alternate models:
1. Purple Gloves, ABA, or Big Evil Taker
2. "Legend Killer" Orton
3. ECW CM Punk
4. Early WWE or WCW Rey Mysterio
5. "Thuganomics" John Cena

What if it's about as extensive and detailed as the TNA iMPACT game?! They didn't hire the same studio, and the same team from THQ to start from scratch. Even with all their means, Take 2 would never have had the time to put out a new wrestling game in time to fit the yearly stipulation. If anything 2K14 is looking to be like the usual THQ upgrade, maybe 2K's influence will show through some aspects, maybe it won't. We'll just have to be patient and see what's what. |

Eh, I don't really care for that list, I'd rather they just add more guys from 99-02 to conclude the Attitude Era mode. yeah,  80s and early 90s guys. |

The 'intro' section in advanced entrances determine that. Sure, you can't pick exactly how long the wait is, but you can probably find something close--as long as it's not like over 20-30 seconds or so. |
