so what features do you guys want in this game
all i want is a re playable season mode, like fifa, i can go back to that all the time, and i do all the time, its so re playable

i want universe mode to go back to more like how it was in smackdown 2 where they had other kinds of cut scenes like promo cut scenes, look who's here? somone got beat up backstage type stuff

I want to see maybe an iTunes style store that allows you to purchase music they couldn't get on the disc in time or past music, and have updates when a wrestler gets new music.

I'm sure they could work something out with entrances like on UFC 3 with Pride mode EDIT: Just realized TNA's ramp is like that now too. Maybe we could get a stage like their current one hopefully somehow. |

I love that ramp style and it's not like it hasn't been used by WWE owned properties. WCW and ECW both used that style of ramp. Just don't half ass it and make it like just an aesthetic thing. Make it like Fire Pro, where I can send people into the ropes and do stuff onto it, like setting up tables or doing moves from the top rope. |

More alternate attires for guys that have them would be nice to see. Punk, Kofi, Miz, Rey, etc...
Also, I miss having street attires for the guys that use them and it would work great for story designer instead of having a guy like Punk arrive to the arena in his underwear.

I'd like to see OMG moments added to the table, like when we got to do table finishers in older games. Can't remember when that was taken away (2010 I think)

I'm already looking forward to seeing the in-game Fandango, and how they do his entrance.
The same with The Shield, if they will walk down steps or just walk through the blank area like R-Truth.

Ok this is what i really want in wwe2k13:
-create an arena for wii
-superstars threads for wii
-dlcs for wii/wii only characters since wii gets less stuff all the time
-extreme weapons(glass panels, barbed wire, barbed wire bats, barbed wire boards, barbed wire tables, chairs,...
-since they have done attitude era mode this year next one shold be like ECW or WCW mode
-changing the attires without changing the participants in universe/setting 2nd attire as primary
-GM Mode
-interactive weapons on wii(break tables without finishers, moves on chairs, trash cans,...

-casket match
-ambulance match
-you remember that part of an arena ik it was in svr2008 where you could climb the barricade and the would be a table a trash can and something you were able to climb that place
-more arenas
-thumbtacks

Anybody else slightly worried that 2K might not do as good a job as THQ has done?
Since WWE '12, I've been very happy with what THQ has thrown out - gameplay is a lot more enjoyable and the online community creations has been a great addition. However there's no doubting WWE '13 has had it's faults, which is a shame as it had the potential to be amazing.
Universe Mode, if done correctly, could be incredible. It needs more storylines and a more realistic and intelligent way of booking. Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena singles match on every Raw culminating in a PPV singles match gets boring quickly. At times, though, it's great and provides the odd moment of magic.
Then that leaves the lackluster online. Servers are awful. Matches are hard to find and are always laggy. Again, like Universe Mode, the online mode gets frustrating and boring which leaves the game with little re-play value.
I'm really hoping that 2K can take everything THQ didn't quite get right (Universe mode and online play) and get it all on point and produce a WWE game that has the re-play value of a Fifa, Madden or COD title. The potential is certainly there. However I'm a little worried that we might end up worse off without THQ, despite all of our constant complaints and gripes about their games.
Time will only tell and I'm buzzing to see what 2K pull out the bag. I have high hopes as their a credible company and have a good track record, with sports titles especially (I class WWE games as sports titles). Fingers crossed!

Also, has anyone heard any rumours of a spin-off title that 2K might do? Like the WWE All Stars game, for example.
Do they have any spin-off titles for other licenses they have?

I still want an All Stars 2. Fantasy Warfare video for Daniel Bryan vs Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels. <3 That or just do a Fantasy Warfare mode in 2k14.

Fingers crossed! 2K is still working with Yukes and has hired on at least most of the key players from THQ in regards to the WWE games. So I don't think there's too much to worry about. I think there would only be cause for that if they were to start from scratch--which, as we already know, they're not. |
