One of my favorite errors right here: Here's a similar one I could never figure out... Hardcore...or Crash Holly. and while we're talking abotu the terrible Backlash line, there is this gem... Phenom era Undertaker painted like ABA. god that taker is bad

They also repainted another old Undertaker as an American Bad Ass version for the Backlash line. It was the one with the head that debuted around Superstars Series 7. Type in "Undertaker Backlash" on eBay and 3 different versions come up, along with the one pictured above with the Slammers head.

The BCA Backlash line wasn't wholly terrible. It was a lot more bad than good, but still respectable given the circumstances surrounding BCA figures in the new millenium. It did give us many suitable repaints of guys spanning the card. One-sleeve Kane in reverse colors? Triple H in McMahon-Helmsley era gear? A more accurate Edge in singles gear? Al Snow in his heel Snowman look? It's all there. I do enjoy the Crash/Hardcore Holly insert error, though. Speaking of errors, where's the love for "Europeam Champion" British Bulldog from the BCA Championship Title Series #1 boxed set? Always a favorite of mine. ;D

I enjoyed the Backlash line... especially for the time. It was fun to see what kind of creative repaints and parts re-uses that they could come up with. The tank top Kane with the Owen upper body was an interesting choice. I always felt like this line was made by some customizer somewhere. That Real scan Billy was one of my absolute favorite BCAs. The beauty of the champions boxset besides the error is that Bulldog is listed as "Europeam AND tag team champion" but they only included a tag belt with Owen.

The second tag belt is included.
I don't have a good photo angle available, but Davey Boy's belt is located behind the "Limited Collector's Edition" text on the box.

I thought it had both, but after looking at your pictures I didnt see the other. Another thing, while not technically a mistake, I thought it would be funny to point out the drop in quality of the years. While there are several instance of figures that were better as years passed, this is a glaring example of the very opposite. We went from this thing of beauty released around 2002... To this disaster released around 6 years later... Obviously different body type and everything, but the fact remains that the r3 version was MUCH MUCH better in almost every area.

i always wondered how killer R3's would have been if they featured the bicep articulation....and better body molds. that "scoliosis" torso was just awful

One of the first RA booker T's I think it was the one in black trunks, the logo reads "BOCKER T" and not booker. Then you have the bca JR where his shirt says "WAR TONY" instead of raw is war.

Also, the adrenaline set with the first WGTT figs, Hass' Teeth were the same color as his hair. A sandy blonde color...

Time for my first post. I do not have a picture of the mistake it self but I was at a target in 1999 and I saw this Ken Shamrock fig from the DTA series. Now clearly they are reusing legs that were on many a Stone Cold figure. Out of 5 they had on the rack, 4 still had Austins Texas and skull tattoo on his leg above the boot.

I didn't read every page, but does everyone remember Tyson Tokko? I can't remember which series (RA13?), but the tattoo on his back had two K's instead of having the M and then the K. I still call him Taco to this day.

Yep. For some reason they went all-out on the No Way Out Matt Hardy figure: It's loaded with deco, front and back, and it remains my favorite Matt Hardy figure for that reason. I remember getting this one from target when i was little haha i loved it.
