I know this has probably been done a before, but I thought it would be fun.... Although we love our Jakks wrestling figures, as we all know, there's been some crazy mistakes or some extra corners cut on some of the figures through the years. I was curious as to what were some of your favorites. This could be anything ranging from the unpainted back half of a figure, to an odd parts choice, to an odd paint app; from BCA through the current TNA figures. One of my favorites is this one..... The best of WCW Chris Jericho is one of my favorite Jakks figures of all time. I love the headscan and the bright attire. However the superheavyweight torso, makes this look someone stuck an air pump hose in his belly button and left it on for a few hours. Standing alone it doesn't look as bad, but when standing beside the rest of your collection, it kinda stands out, especially considering Jericho was a cruiserweight during this era. I customized mine and switched the torso for the cruiserweight/lightheavyweight torso. The head looks a little big, but I think it looks better. That may be why they made the odd parts choice, after they made the head they realized it was a bit big, so they chose the bigger body to make it look better. But regardless of the odd body choice, its still my favorite Chris Jericho figure.

LOL, is it a mistake when you clearly don't give a **** anymore? The 600 lb Rikishi always gave me a chuckle:

That Jericho figure also has no ears. I found that amusing back when I had him.

Originally scheduled for the Backlash line I believe. The proto was shown shortly after the "live sex" edge/lita angle on Raw

The balloon heads which Jakks said were a myth, when it was obvious they'd changed the sizes of them around the time Best of WCW/ECW came out.
The third (final) CS Doink comes to mind, as well. I wouldn't have had as big of a problem with it if he were packaged with his jacket on, but instead, the vest part is packed off to the side to give the illusion that it was the figure's accessory.

In the BCA line this figure was released in a boxed set with Steve Austin in his 'hunting McMahon' camo gear. I was really excited when I saw it at the toy store because I LOVED that episode of Raw. When I got home and unboxed I saw these legs and wanted to burn Jakks headquarters down.. www.bigbadtoystore.com/images/products/in/large/JAK10230.jpg [/img] Sighhhhhh. Skin painted raised kneepads. Were we supposed to think his knees were just THAT swollen?? Those are the same legs used on guys that wear long pants w/ kneepads.

I liked Jamie Noble with plain white vest and the Trevor Murdoch with a vest that was painted plaid on the front and left plain white on the back.

However other than the wrong leg choice, this was a great figure.

The worst thing for me is that the Removable mask IE Kane never came with hair after I'm sure the proto showed hair. Figure was always half complete to me.

Black haired Ric Flair.. how did stuff like this get past quality control? I never got to see that one in person, but that one is crazy. Maybe Flair was planning on dyeing his hair around this time, but changed his mind after it was too late to fully stop production......Yeah, probably not lol. The worst thing for me is that the Removable mask IE Kane never came with hair after I'm sure the proto showed hair. Figure was always half complete to me. Which figure was this, I don't remember it.

I have noticed there has been some mistakes with kane figures in the series, was devastating when the classic superstars kane/undertaker/bearer came out, undertaker looked amazing - Kane....i mean....who invented that mask!? Never in that era did kane wear anything like that. He has the mouth gaurd on right up until his unmasking attire. The body was really good, but his head looks like some cheesy surfer hero! and on a side note - paul bearer looks about a foot taller than Kane and undertaker in that set
