Whoever made that site is pretty heartless.. The guy is just trying to make money. If Virgil becomes famous in the 2010's for an Internet meme which depicts him as having no fans, then people will know who he is from this so when they see him, they will want to meet him for that reason. It's a good example of "any publicity is good publicity". Lets face it, he hardly had a memorable wrestling career and as each day passes, it becomes less and less relevant. So let's make fun of him. |

I think it's hilarious!! And not trying to make myself sound like a jerk by saying that either, because if anything this is gonna HELP Virgil!!!
Fans who come across this will see him at these events and want their picture with him now and such.
It's the best thing for him to be honest.

I got a pic with Virgil & Ted Dibiase a couple years ago at the San Diego Comic Con. He's an ok dude.
My only question is why would someone pay to set up a site that basically has pics of a guy sitting by himself? Seems like whoever put this site together has too much time on their hands & really doesn't know what to do with their money, LOL

I think it's pretty funny. At face value it does seem heartless, but we don't know if this is "bottom of the barrel" for him or if he's just clasping at the glory days that he should've let go of loooong ago. Those types of people don't need sympathy.

I think it's pretty damn funny. This could turn into a cult thing for him. I'm not sure why we're supposed to feel sorry for him. I think it's sad he can't move on, but that's about it. Guy was half a star 20 years ago, time to get on with life.

I dont feel bad for him. The guy is famous enough now where people take pictures of him and post them all over the internet. He has people talking about him(this thread is a perfect example), Compared to the jobbers and other guys that fell off the face of the earth in the 90's, I think Virgil is doing pretty good for himself.

He obviously either has money or makes money b/c usually he is his own vendor and has to be for his own travel, hotel, and rent a car so he's doing something right. I find this site pretty funny though.
