What's wrong with constructive criticism? when i point out something wrong w/ an upcoming fig....and someone says "I don't care.....i'll buy it anyway".....i am just baffled some ppl just don't care. If the figure has 2 arms, 2 legs and a head, they'll buy it. i prefer things to be accurate. call me crazy

I don't try and pick fights I'm just worried as its a flashback if it was another cena or orton or someone we will get a zillion of I'm fine but this may be the only long awaited updated style billy gunn they nailed Road Dogg and I hope X-Pac will show up on the 2014 radar along with a few others. granted I will buy the billy gunn no matter what unless its as bad as the jakks HBK from the hbk vs taker 2 pack that had many of us going huh ? not the deluxe one the red and grey WTF version some of you know what I'm talking about. I digress I'm just hoping they nail this one out of the park I'm tired of using my kip james tna version

I probably wouldn't have thought twice about it had you not pointed it out. I think the Road Warrior boots in white sound like a pretty great solution to this problem.

As much as I would love it if we were able to make brand new parts unique to every figure we make I cannot. Using the Dolph boots here allows me to spend tooling $ elsewhere in the wave where it is needed more ( it will be obvious where when that figure is revealed). So the boots will be slightly shorter than reality, but the legs under the pads will be painted black to match reference images I have on him as close as possible You will like the final result I promise Bill

Trust me Billy himself will be extremely happy with this figure. So if he himself can be happy with it, so can we!

The deco on macho is crazy. But its missing all types of cutouts and tassels, entrance gear...and that bulky shirt isn't helping anything. u gotta think a WM 3 Macho could've been done w/ entrance gear.....cheaper then a wm 8. and big e's singlet is just wrong. If u did it to use it for another wrestler...i can't imagine who else could wear that?

Looks fine to me, I would just be thankful we're getting a Billy Gunn and stop complaining about minor details that mattel will surely correct. Same here. I'm just happy DX is getting made when Mattel first started, WWE didn't give them the green light until now.

Hopefully they use one of the so-called "leg sleeve" knee pads on him instead.

Still enough time to fix it. Was a prototype in the case? If not then they have more than enough time to change kneepads, since they are not part of the mold.
I'm just wondering what color tights he's gonna get. I would want the light blue or neon green

Its a while away so im not too concerned. I would assume they'd paint the blk underneath like l5 macho or big show. This.the will more than likely paint under the pads black. Like they've dome with others im the past.

if the road warrior boots were used, wouldn't 3 straps have to be sculpted onto the boots? guess that explains why mdt decided not to use them , im exited but im anixous to see it painted as billy's smaller pads were in the center of the larger black leg wraps, if the calfs are painted black theres going to be too much of the black wrap?, but regardless im happy theres going to be a billy gunn figure! heres a colouring i did on gimp:

Im sure when we see Billy further along in the process we will be very happy with the result.

Are people really asking for the figure killing big knee pads?
The Road Warrior boots definitely would have been the best solution. Mattel tends to give a lot of guys shorter boots than then actually have (Cactus Jack, Christian)
