Paulmartstore has received the Lobo multiverse wave. Good news there all 2 per case. Meanwhile in other news Big Bad still hasn’t received the Lex wave with the Gotham by Gaslight Batman. So God knows when they ‘lol receive the Lobo wave. lol

BigBad has been terrible this past year for Mattel products, they get everything late. I had Gotham by Gaslight Batman from Mid-November. Most retail has been terrible for the Multiverse lines if there not movie based.

Yes they have. I finally found a lone Multiverse Spoiler at the Fishkill WalMart about 30 minutes ago. No Harley but Spoiler was the one I wanted most of the two seeing I have a bunch of Harley’s already from DCUC and Multiverse.

I find it hard to believe, but there is speculation that Spinmaster has the master DC license in 2020.

Sucks if Mattel is losing the license but all I really wanted was 1 properly scaled movie/tv Green Lantern to put with the rest of the group since the movie master is too short.

Well, that will suck if true, but Mattel hasn’t really done anything with it since DCUC ended. Sure these last couple waves of Multiverse have been moving in the right direction but for a few years it’s been one step forward and two steps back. Anyway after sitting in our kitchen for over a month my wife decided she didn’t want to wrap this and just gave it to me. lol

The Mattel license was renewed in 2014 for 5 years so 2020 would be accurate starting point for a new company to take over. However Mattel *could* keep the master license and Spin Masters make the smaller lines (like the 12" figures and "action" feature figures)...we'll just have to wait till ToyFair to get proper info.

Spin Masters made 6" action figures years ago so its not out of the realm they would make them again. As I said, I doubt they get the master license but Im not gonna be surprised if some "cheap" DC toys dont come from Spin masters PJ do you know if Mattel makes those 4" DC figures that pop up at Big Lots & Walgreens or is it another company?

If you are talking about these...yes they are Mattel. These are their newest ones where they added t-crotch hips to them. As for Spin Masters yes it says action toys also, but it doesn’t say anything about them acquiring the master license. So hopefully that means Mattel will still have that.

and for those misinformed about Spin Masters never making boys 6" action figures...I present to you...
Also Jason Langston, a toy designer for Mattel, pretty much just confirmed that Mattel/DC license was ending at the end of 2019 on his IG page.

I believe the big figs are made by JAKKS if I remember correct so Im not gonna be surprised to see Spin Master put out figures but whether they get the master line would remain to be seen.

SpinMaster, as seen in the article posted above, have become a licensee in the action category, to make rc, robots, water toys and puzzles, zero mention of Action Figures, zero mention of Mattel To think the makers of Hatchimals and Paw Patrol would take over from Mattel and make action figures is simply ridiculous
