Saw the new Batman figures at Walmart this morning. I was tempted to get one but didn't. They didn't have Superman or Harley.

Picked up two of the new Spin Masters 4” Batman figures at Walmart tonight. I grabbed Rebirth Batman and Batman in a navy blue and black suit.

My case of the 4” Spin Master Batman figures shipped from Entertainment Earth yesterday. They should arrive Tuesday just like my McFarlane Batman, Nightwing and Arrow figures from Amazon. Tuesday should hopefully be a very fun day.

Got the Batman animated McFarlane today. Nice surprise from my mother, since I was working today. Impressive looking figure.

I picked up the 12” Spin Masters Superman and The Flash from Target tonight. They also had Shazam too.

Got the Superman today. IMO there's some pros and cons... ProsI love the paint on the logo. The shiny red with a flat yellow looks amazing. My favorite part of the entire figure. I'm impressed with the articulation. Flight stand is cool. Though I do wish it could be made to go higher. The curl is great. ConsI don't care much for the face. It's kinda soft looking. Same with the Batman. I wish they faces had more character to them. Ankles are kind of a pain. Wish he had some effects. Like the Neca Superman had the heat vision.     |

I think the ankles are better than the DC Essentials figures which are the same style, but McFarlane’s actually work. What I don’t like is the cod piece I would rather it was part of the sculpt like a DCUC/DCC/ML. I hate those floating cod pieces. And the only other thing is I wish Batman’s head was scaled correctly. From the front I can live with it but from the side it’s ridiculously small.

Finally here is my BtAS setup... I’m waiting on hooks to hang the Batwing and the Batcycle will be in my possession next week... I also have Zatana but, meh, didn’t feel like she fit in anywhere on the shelf... Also, need the Batcave, if anyone has a line on one, let me know!! Enjoy!  |

Thought I'd post this here. I made this a couple years ago, I think anyone around my age who remembers collecting Batman figures in the early '90s would get some enjoyment out of this. At the very least, it's a good run through memory lane, since I was able to show a lot of my old figures and vehicles from those days.
