I've been on a bit of a legends spree over the last seven days - I attended three independent wrestling shows in just under a week! And I got great autographs at them all.
Was very pleased to find out that Kevin Nash would be appearing at the Funkdafied Wrestling Federation show tonight only 10 minutes from my house!
Was very disappointed to learn that this federation has been doing this for a while - and had names such as X-Pac, Golddust, and Vader... and I'd never heard about it.... sorry guys, you've gotta advertise at least a LITTLE... if this fell under my radar, you're just not trying....
Anyway - Funkdafied Wrestling Federation, 10/4 - Newark, Delaware - a great time had by the crowd. I brought several goodies to have signed by the leader of the wolfpac - and I didn't leave disappointed....
You guys see my signature - I couldn't go to this and NOT have my JAKKS Diesel signed.... but then how could I not get the SWEET Mattel Nash signed either? I couldn't make up my mind, so I just took both....
Also, I'm working on getting some of my favorite WWE Magazine covers signed - this is one of my favorites. I told Big Kev that, he said "Sweet!"
Overall, Nash was pretty quiet - he seemed slightly humbled to be appearing at such a tiny event, I guess after headlining for so many years... he didn't say much, but he was very respectful to the fans - especially the children. I played around with this pic - I want it to be special...
I really thought he was going to tear his quad, right in front of us.... his legs must hurt, he had a really hard time getting in and out of the ring - but he didn't fare too badly when he was in there wrestling!
Overall a good time! In case anyone missed my posts over on the "Classic" forum, I also met Honky Tonk Man, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Brutus Beefcake, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan last weekend.... check out those posts for a full report - here are the photos!

Hacksaw was the NICEST wrestler we've ever met ' he said "Hey Frank! Have you seen my Hall of Fame ring? People always ask me how many diamonds it's got in it - I tell them that Vince McMahon gave it to me - it's got nothing but coal!" He was so personable and welcoming - best meet ever....
Just had Beefcake sign a magazine cover.... I'm filling my "Hobby Room" with signed magazine covers....
The night before that - met Jake "The Snake" Roberts..... that was a strange encounter.... again, read my Classic Forum post for more details....

So I'm happily exhausted after three independent events and lots of autographs! But well worth the time and effort spent - got lots of awesome pics and autographs....
This is a great way to keep myself busy when I can't find the figures I want at the stores!
