It was already alluded to earlier in this thread, but, let me just point this out to everyone: If you see one of these belts for sale on eBay, do not bid on or buy it. No one is going to buy a new Elite figure, then only sell the title belt. Brand new title belt up for auction means that the belt was stolen. Do not support these piece of trash thieves. They are ruining collecting. Don't help them to profit from it. Some idiot apparently assumed that was the case with my belt auction last week. I don't care about the belts, and my $154 Mattycollector subscription order this month doesn't pay for itself. Idiot that won has never payed (it's eight days so far) or responded at all to any message. Luckily, I get to close the case on it tomorrow night (and flag the buyer) and relist it, and hopefully these idiots don't pull that crap again.

I saw a TRU just north of me where every BOPPV Elite had the BAF piece taken out, and the package was destroyed. It was about 7 figures and I couldn't believe that the employees would be so lazy as to just leave them sitting on the shelf like there was nothing wrong. Maybe the employees hadn't noticed but I doubt it because they were all on the pegs, usually if something is stolen it isn't in the proper place or even hung up properly.

finally saw an e23 figure at retail. it was savage but on closer inspection noticed someone did a head swap. belt was still there but could have swapped the blue globe for a black globe.

It is sad. There have been a lot of figures that have come out where they had the belt I wanted (BOPPV Christian comes to mind) but I didn't want the figure (due to me not liking the figures look or the person the figure was based on). That didn't mean that I was so desperate to get the belt that I would risk shoplifting and sit in the aisle at Toysrus with a pocket knife, carving my way to shiny plastic you people who do this need to rethink your life's victory. No, ya either suck it up and waste money on a figure ya don't want to get a tiny shiny belt or ya wait till they make a figure with the belt ya want and buy that. Like I pointed out above, I didn't want the BOPPV Christian figure but I wanted the belt, oh well, I can wait, what's that Mattel, a new Wade Barrett figure to replace my Elite 18 Barrett figure, comes with the new shiny white IC belt, hooray, bought it, love it, stop being criminals you wastes of space.

That's a pretty huge risk. The smart thing to do is to inform the store and get out of the way. Even if the store backs up your assertion that there was a potential theft happening, the cops could still charge you with disorderly conduct and/or assault. I just went back to the same walmart and found that now the savage belt is torn out and the jbl box is ripped up. I'm willing to take my chances. Ill brake their jaw or give them one hell of a clothesline. Whichever one comes from instinct first. I know this is old as but, you're a ing idiot. They're just toys, TOYS. No need to knock someone out for stealing a toy belt that takes 2-3 Dollars to manufacture. You're just a bully looking to fight. Smh that's worse than stealing toy belts.

Half the X-Pac's and Yoko's in my area are ripped apart due to people stealing the belts. Edit: holy crap this is old. I also can't believe this was around the same time GTA V came out and I was a Senior in High School. God damn, I miss High School so ing much.

This issue continues to plague the hobby. I've noticed that stores with dim lighting and/or poorly kept toy aisles usually have multiple figures missing accessories and WWE belts are a prime target.

In general I find that the WWE line is plauged more by swaps and theft than any other toyline I've ever collected. Really is staggering how bad it is. I once saw 6 of the last elite Punk, with the sweatshirts ripped out.

And stuff like this is why good, newer threads get pushed back.
