Hey all just wondered who your favourite Wrestler or Wrestlers are, and if you think that they have been well represent by Mattel in figure form. Do you own all of them etc
My favourite wrestler is CM Punk, been a fan since the ROH days and I'm trying to create a timeline of figures to display, so far missing Elite 1, RSC Exclusive and one to represent ROH which I will get around to making eventually. Elite 16 is the figure that got me into collecting in the first place as I have good memories of the summer of Punk and that figure was a perfect representation of that.
looking forward to hearing your views

I had put so much time and effort into the jakks line that I didn't have the energy to start over at the time. But man am I glad I did. Mattel has really hit the mark with most of its figures. While I still hope to see elite forms someday of a few of my faves like Scott Hall and Scott Steiner, I feel great about the collection I have so far.

When I saw E12 Kane, EG Jericho, and E13 Edge, I knew I HAD to get those figures, which got me back in the game of collecting. Those were all my favorite wrestlers when I was a kid. If they'd make a flashback Jeff Hardy (wishful thinking), I'd be set!

My favorite of all time is Randy Macho Man Savage. I was so pumped that Mattel got the rights to do him as a figure. I have every Macho Man they had made all loose and MOC. So I have doubles of all his figures even the Rumbler. My favorite is the Defining Moments figure. That was just all around well done. I was hoping for a Wrestlemania 3 Savage with pink trunks and robe in Elite form but I doubt that will happen seeing we got two versions of him in trunks with stars in Elite form and one in Basic form. Dare to dream

I would have to go with Bret Hart and HHH. It's hard to complain about Mattel's releases for Bret. I wouldn't mind seeing more earlier versions of HHH.

My top 5 favorites are:
1 - Ultimate Warrior - Very pleased with what Mattel has done so far, and can't wait to see what they do with him in the future.
2 - Macho Man - They've done a great job giving us different periods of his career. I do really want a neon cowboy version still though.
3 - Undertaker - I stopped watching wrestling around 2002, but the classic versions they've done have been awesome. Love the EG version, and love the E3. I own the DM and E18 ones as well.
4 - LOD - L1 Road Warriors are amazing figures, but I'm still waiting on the red and black; their quintessential look IMO.
5 - HBK - They've done a decent job on the flashback, EG and RRH figures. I love the Matty Rockers figures, but I'd love to see a white/red blonde haired HBK.
I loved the Hulkster too, but seeing as Mattel hasn't/can't make him, I didn't list him.

My favorite wrestlers of all time are
Mr Perfect - His legends figure is disappointing. Too thin and lanky. I can't wait for B37. One of my most ancticpated figures as a collector. My favorite Perfect figure is the Jakks Executive Consultant fix up I did. I hope we get a Mattel version.
The Rock - I own every Mattel Rock figure, and a few Jakks. My favorite is Defining Moments. The #2 moment in Raw history and still the most watched segment ever. It was also a V-day gift from my wife. Awesome accessories. 2nd would have to be E22. Great likeness for the current People's Champ.
My favorite current wrestler is Dolph Ziggler. My favorite figs of his are either E19 or the BOPPV basic from the BAF Teddy set.
Looking at one character who I think Mattel had done the best with, across the board.......would be Undertaker and Macho Man. Love all of their figures and a few of them are among my favorites; like E23 and DM.

While Mattel has made several amazing figures that they've knocked out of the park, I'm gonna keep this limited to the current roster so as to not have this be a long list.
CM Punk: In my opinion, the best Mattel figure of all time is the E16 Punk. From the shirt, to the attire details, to the severely underrated headscan, this figure is my absolute favorite, and like OP said, the perfect representation of the Summer of Punk.
Chris Jericho: While I could to with him having a bigger torso (The Funk one is SO PERFECT for SO MANY guys), it is still an incredible figure. I feel like the first elite Jericho was a dud, especially in the accessories department. Not to mention the horrible headscan it came with. Well, 16(!!) series later, Mattel rectified all of that by giving us the best version of modern day Jericho in figure form. I loved the attire when I saw it at WM 28 and distinctly remember telling to my girlfriend (who loves this figure as much, if not more than I do) that I would instantly buy a Jericho elite in this attire. An all round great figure.
Daniel Bryan: Even though I have a feeling many people who pick Bryan are gonna go for the recently released BoPPV figure, Elite 19 is still, IMO, the best Bryan figure Mattel has made, all due to one thing: THAT ATTIRE! It is so perfect and so accurately represented that I can look over the subdued look on his face as well as the wrong torso choice they seem to be stuck with. (FUNK TORSO MATTEL!)
Antonio Cesaro: This one is a fairly recent release, and I'll admit I don't actually have it in hand yet; but that headscan and attire detail alone make it a perfect figure. Many people have complained about him looking too lanky, but IMO it perfectly captures Cesaro's physique. Oh and did I mention how PERFECT the headscan is?!

Trent Barreta- No, facescan sucks
Rikishi- he looks OK, but I have to have him in my hands to give you an exact answer
Hurricane- Yes, his basic stands out in a collection.
Titus O Neil- Yeah, he's alright. I want an Elite though

Ultimate Warrior I have to say, his figures get done to a T every single time. I hope is upcoming Elite is no exception.

Favorite wrestlers of all time
Shawn Michaels Stone Cold Steve Austin
I'd say Austin is about done with figs. as the rsc exclusive is perfect. We just need a jean shorts what? Shirt.
Now michaels, michaells has had plenty of great figures. But we still need many many more. My top two currently are DX in your house and Summerslam 1995 ladder match.

Roddy Piper - Not a fan of the figure released in the 2 pack. I hope some day Mattel will do him justice. He would need a better head sculpt and bigger body.
The Rock - He's had some great figures especially his latest Elite and his DM. I'd still like a 97, 99 and a Hollywood Rock.
Macho Man - His DM is awesome!!! And I'm a fan of his others. There's still plenty of looks I'd like done and I still don't think they have got a headsculpt perfect yet.
Razor Ramon - Not done......yet...
LOD - Great figures but not iconic look. I'd want new heads if they attempted them again.

my favourite wrestler of all time is Sting (surfer gimmick). But alas, WWE/Mattel isn't making him, so I took matters into my own hands.

Bret Hart, and mattel has definitely done him justice with all the figures they've released so far of him.
I was also a fan of Rey Mysterio during his ECW/WCW/ early WWE days and loved the 6 pack they did early in the Mattel run.

Austin Aires. For the last 7 years I've been telling girlfriends he's my favourite wrestler. 6 years ago, he was an ROH guy. In 2011, he became a TNA Guy. Then the X-Division Champion, then the longest Champion, then world champion. It's sure a lot easier to explain who he is today when he's wrestling Jeff Hardy.

Mattel will never make a figure of my favorite wrestler (I'll give you two guesses who). I have to settle for customs.
